One of the best places to eat right next to one of the best beaches in Goa. This place boasts of a lovely ambience and great French food. We love their spiced bloody mary too much. So much so that we asked the chef the recipe for it. Not to miss their grilled fish, avocado and cream appetiser and their very famous chocolate thali!Their portion sizes are usually huge but the place is a bit pricey for Goa for sure. They know how to plate their dishes well, making them quite insta-worthy. This makes for a perfect date place at night and a cool hangout place with friends in the afternoon. We always make it a point to go to this place whenever we visit Goa. For more such reviews, follow us on Instagram and Facebook: twohangrywomen
La Plage doesn’t need another great review, but here it is anyway. Visit this chic, laid back restaurant for brilliant French cuisine by the seaside. While pronouncing the names of the dishes can be a mouthful, each dish is better than the next in terms of the flavourful ingredient pairings and creativity. I tried the mango and beet carpaccio, the liver pate with onion jam *OMG SO GOOD*, the crispy prawns with cucumber sorbet and the special for the day – the seafood risotto. Amazing! Also tried the chicken burger as it seemed to be popular here – there were burgers on burgers flying out of the kitchen, but its nothing to write home about. If you have the appetite, the chocolate thali is a must. If not, the baby chocolate fondant with Kerala cream will work fine and will end your meal on a decadent note. I’ll be back!
Lovely place right at the morjim beach in Goa. Its off the main road tucked a bit inside. Follow sign posts to get here. They have parking as well for about 15-20 vehicles. Food is decent; not the best in Goa but the USP is direct beach access to a near and clean beach where you can enjoy some seclude as against the jam packed beaches like baga, calangute, vagator etc
