The food here has improved a lot from the last time i have been here ( change of management) . The food if you ask me was slightly on the spicer side, but nevertheless was good. A definate must try, for yummy cosy food.
This place is there for so long and been visiting it for so many years that I lost the count of how many times I have visited. The ambiance has transformed and its more classy to see now. Maharaja has many restaurant inside it one of them is casacade which is too good. The food is too tasty and mouth watering.Especially Indian cuisine and authentic goan food.
I’ve been here so many time that I’ve lost count. Maharaja has transformed itself completely, both in its service and decor. The various restaurants at Maharaja have their own vibrancy and stunning decors. Cascade is one such restaurant with amazing decor. Its an urban setting with certainly the most amazing food you’ll find in the city.Ordered tempura fried calamari, chicken lollipops, chicken spring rolls and kashmiri malai kofta.Food-4/5Ambience-4.5/5Service-4/5Friendliness of waiters-4/5Overall-4/5EDIT: Christmas visit.Order: Chicken Spring RollsChicken ChillySpice Girl(mocktail)Punjabi Murg BriyaniThe Briyani was so aromatic with mild flavors to it. Although they call it Punjabi Briyani, it is more like a Lucknawi Briyani since Punjabi Briyani is more spicy. The chilly chicken was okay, not too good. I loved the spring rolls and the mocktail.
One of my favorite restaurants in Vasco. I have been here so many times. First thing as I enter. Rustic decor. But, still, a classy feel to it! Very much suited for both family dinners, as well as romantic dates. About the food, my absolute favorite is their Dragon Chicken. Nowhere else is it that good! I also like their Mayo Chicken pizza. To go with the drinks, their version of peanut masala and masala papad is a great option. Most of the Indian menu (the kurmas and the sabjis and the naans) are as good as you could find in any decent restaurant. The servers are polite and efficient. The kitchen maybe a bit slow at times, but otherwise its good. I won’t complain much about the costs either. One suggestion to the management would be to reduce the quantity and the costs proportionally for some dishes, since they already have a generous amount per serving.Taste and variety – 7.5/10Ambience and comfort – 3.5/5Service – 3.5/5Value for money – 3.5/5Total – 18/25
Had to eat at this place due to lack of any open restaurants nearby late in the night. Very bad experience of having dinner at this place. The food served was stale and tasteless, and the chapatis were virtually raw. The restaurant staff was courteous enough, hence rating it 2/5.
