Location is very good, just opposite Bogmello beach. However, the food is not tasty and food quality is not very good. The price is reasonable. The biggest issue is that staff is very rude. They are very bad at service and not customer friendly.
Horrible preparations and staff. All their curry are same. They just add boiled chicken or boiled beef or boiled prawns and serve it. Horrible chicken wings also. Look at the pic attached. Thats a chucken pakoda and they call it chicken wings. Totally lost staff and careless owners. Wont recommend or be here again. They dont take any form of digital pyment so be prepared. They are not cooperative also. Shittiest place i have ever been to in Goa.
A lovely view of the sea and the sprinkle of the rain (yes, it was raining) but a bad day to be there since it was the day when Ganesha was being immersed into the sea and so the pollution (noise and smoke) did not allow us to revel in the view as we had liked it to be. Perhaps the pollution did not allow me to enjoy the food that I had ordered – I made the mistake of ordering chicken steak (of late, I have been having steak because it is a complete meal by itself and quite filling without any accompaniments like appetisers or starters). The sauce was tomato-based and the fries smelled and tasted of fish (same oil, I reckon!). We had also ordered a beef pepper which reminded us of Kerala beef fry and was tasty as well. I owe the quality of food to the festival days of less crowd and the general lethargy to prepare food since not many customers were expected. I should perhaps visit this place on a ‘normal’ day and further review. Until that time, this review stays!
Only thing i tell you that i was staying is 5star hotel bogmallo beach resort but came here for lunch and dinner every single day. Prawns fried, prawns curry and pomphret fry and curry are my favorite here. Most of bogmallo beach resort guests comes to full moon for all their meals.
If you are on this side of Goa (in around Bogmalo) this is the best place to have your drinks. It’s a very basic place kind of shack but not exactly. On the beach, and few tables got nice sea view. If you wanna find a upmarket or romantic place this is not your cup of tea. The staff is excellent, very friendly and ready on their toes to serve you. You will find many foreigners there for evening drinks. I think almost everyone from the near by resort come here for drinks at Goan rates 🙂 , at least I did the same and spotted a few more. I also tried king fish , chicken tikka and fries all were good. Especially the chicken tikka was exception, very soft and well done. They also gave free ‘papad’ with drinks 🙂 Overall, nice small place to have your drinks and do try some food as well.
