Decent food. Not something very good to expect
This place has very good ambience. Service is good and the dishes are pretty tasty. One must try the wanton soup and dragon chicken. Overall good experience!
Not being a resident of Vasco, I had never heard of this place. Simply stumbled upon it after a tiring bike ride with friends in heavy rains. The place served as a blissful haven! The ambience was cozy and comfortable. The staff polite and knowledgeable. The place had served me some of the best Chinese dishes I’ve ever had. We started off with chicken noodle soup, followed by hakka noodles with lemon ginger chicken and fresh babycorn accompanied with mushroom in hot garlic sauce. Lemon Chicken is a must try over here. The soft and juicy chicken pieces blended splendidly with the lemon flavour, herbs and roasted garlic. Having it with the Hakka noodles was a satisfying experience. The vegetables too were fresh and tasty. Unlike the usual Chinese food that I am used to, the sauces weren’t harsh on my tastebuds, not at all desperate to impress me. In fact they complimented each other perfectly well leading to a satisfying dining experience. All though the prices were quite reasonable, the quantity was a bit less. Nonetheless, I’m definitely gonna visit this place again!
This restaurant offers a good variety of Oriental cuisine. However the portions are a little small for the price charged. The ambience is good and the staff is courteous. Do try once.
Apperitif:Dragon chicken and fries.Main course:Pork ribs in schezwan sauce.The food was totally worth the bill. Dragon chicken was my first try at something unique and it was worth it: Chicken inside crunchy fried noodles. The pork ribs were tender and juicy and with the right amount of sweet and spicy that I like in Chinese.
Sweet And Sour is a decent place serving some Chinese delicacies in the port town of Vasco. I have tried a few of their soups, chicken starters and pork items. I liked what I had. The pricing too is comparatively cheaper than other places. Since Vasco doesn’t really have decent Chinese restaurants this one is a good option.
