We visited this place a few days back in the afternoon, despite calling the waiter a few times no one came to attend, finally after 20, minutes we had no choice but to leave.
An old house turned restaurant, just a few meters from Reis Magos fort. Place has around 6-7 outdoor tables and a spacious indoor seating which is reserved only for their special thaal.Owner and the staff is quite friendly and helped with their recommendations which I didn’t regret at all.Mocktails included Virgin mojito/kokam cooler/pink lemonade (cherry flavored lemonade) which were refreshing. For starters took the Naram Dil kebab which comes without any fancy ingredients yet good taste. For non veg starters, ordered their bohri chicken cutlets and Mutton kheema samosas which came with mint/ tamarind chutneys and went with the respective dishes so well. Bohri chicken dum biryani had to be the choice for main course and it totally satisfied my biryani cravings. Hadn’t had such perfect blend of spices for long. Tried Umm Ali for dessert which is a bread pudding garnished with dry fruits and just melts in the mouth. Would have loved some more but that was the last piece left.This place is definitely worth a try, something different from the usual. Prices are fair enough for the taste, though would like to see some more quantity.

This is a lovely place located in a seaside house. They have indoor and outdoor seating.The indoor seating is reserved for people who book the multi guest thaal only.They offer dedicated Bohra cuisine which was a first for us in goa.The menu categorically mentions a preparation time of 35 to 40 mins as all items are freshly prepared so if u want a fast meal this isn’t the place for you. So do place your order for appetizers and main course all together i feel.When you do try the food u have to admit it is worth the wait. The portions are a little bit small but the food quality is definitely worth it.They also offer the a la carte items in bulk orders of Kilos.All in all a great place for a relaxed lunch or dinner.The dessert items are all awesome. We tried Umm Ali which is an Egyptian creamy bread desert. It was lovely.
