  A few days ago, we visited a place that dishes out some homely, healthy and delicious food. Cafe Lovii food truck is located opposite Vasant Vihar in Taleigao and is hard to miss, given it’s quaint look and jaw dropping aromas.⁣ The food truck is run by a young, lively couple, Vasant and Vatsala Hede from Margao. They started out in Margao with a small café, then moved on into the food truck business and it’s only gotten better and tastier from there.⁣We tried the following:Prawns Chilly, Hawaiian Chicken, Tuna and Cheese, Myshroom Chilly, Peri Peri Chicken, Chicken Cafreal PoiesChicken Kathi Roll, LemonadesThe prawns chilly is an absolute must try dish. This filling is definitely one of their best. Good sized prawns tossed in a delicious sauce and cooked to perfection with onion, capsicum and some aromatic Goan spices.⁣⁣⁣Generally a Hawaiian stuffing is slightly bland. But at Cafe Lovii, it isn’t overpoweringly sweet, has just the right amount of bite to it, and is topped with oozy cheese.⁣⁣⁣Canned tuna isn’t everyone’s favourite, but here, combined with a delicious mustard sauce and cheese, the tuna poie is a fishy delight.The Mushroom Chilly is a delicious option for all the vegetarians and mushroom lovers out there. The Peri Peri chicken and Chicken Cafreal are among their bestsellers.The kathi roll is definitely worth the price. A wheat chapatti roll that’s first laid with an omelette and then stuffed with some delicious chicken filling.⁣The lemonade flavours available are Kokum, Rose, Mango, Green Apple and some more. We tried kokum and rose lemonade, which were very refreshing.
