I went to this place when me and my friends went for a trip to goa. It is a well known place for Seafood lovers but I being Vegetarian was very dicey about it.We ordered VEG THALI which was very big and consisted of 3 Gravy and 1 sukha bhaji along with Pakoras, Papad, Rice, sol kadhi and achaar. It was good enough for two. Dal fry was my favourite. I also liked the sukha bhaji. The accompanied items also tasted good. It was very surprising but it is definitely one of the good Vegetarian place.The star of the evening were their famous Dessert which were something I had never tried and are something I would like to eat again. We had GOA’S BEST CERDURA and BEBINCA. They are a must try.Overall My experience being a Vegetarian was good.
One of the very popular places to have goan food! The ambience is cozy and comfortable. They have a short menu, but serves best food.Starters -•Fresh fish fry ( Pomfret) – Being in goa, the fish had to be fresh and was also cooked till perfection•Golden prawns – They were dipped in batter and deep fried•Peanut fry – Bolied peanuts were served with onion, tomato, corriander and some condiments.Maincourse -•Prawns curry – Tasted ultimate(®)•Kokni sukha chicken – The gravy was had a perfect taste•Kaju green peas bhaji – The kaju being the king, was cooked good and served wellDessert -•Goa’s best Cerdura – One of my personal favorites from the entire list. The traditional ceradura they serve is one of the things that you should definitely taste!(®®)
This is so far the best place for seafood.. Absolutely delicious food n cozy environment.. service is good.. u might have to wait as it’s very busy restaurant. Loved it and will surely visit again❤️
Want to taste authentic Goan style cuisines this is the perfect place .Just walk down Dada Vaidya Road in the heart of Panjim and step into nostalgia at Kokni Kanteen, 1972, welcoming and cozy with a quaint 1970s Goan charm. so i badly wanted to taste goan style food so we visited this place for dinner.And this was my first time i tasted crab and i loved it ,it just tasted awesome and i was in luv with the dish.Chicken Rava fry -deep fried chicken coated with spices and rava.this dish is just awesome it does need any chutney or sauce .prawns biriyani was simple flavors ,it tasted good.i strongly recommend this place and do visit this place wen ur in goa.We ordered:➖➖➖➖➖Stuffed CrabChicken Rava fryPrawns special biriyanikokum juice.Recommend dishes:➖➖➖➖➖➖➖Stuffed CrabChicken Rava frykokum juice.Overall:9/10Service:9/10Ambience:9/10Value for money:8/10Taste:9/10
A great place to have seafood. This place is also easy to locate.Had the Surmai Thali which was completely loaded with food compared to its price. It consisted of Rice, Surmai Fish Fry, Salad, Fish Curry, Sol Kadhi, Dry Bangda, Clam Masala and a vegetable bhaji.The fish and the clams were the highlight of this thali and were really really good.Veg Thali was also good and it consisted of chapati, dal fry, bhaji, fried brinjal, sol kadhi, papad and some other assortments.For desserts, we had bebinca and Ceradura which local Goan Sweets and we really enjoyed them.
One of the best restaurants in Goa. The place was full of crowd and we had to wait for 20 mins to get a table. But the wait was worth it. The food was very good..it was subtle, homely and the fish was fresh and full of flavours. The portions was more than enough for one person and definitely value for money. The number of dishes and fish pieces served in the fish thali was definitely worth the amount paid for it.Food-5/5, service-5/5, ambience -4/5
Fish thali finished with serradura = simply awesome!
