Good location. A nice view of water from the restaurant. The prices are really decent. Ordered fried eggs, channa masala, chapati and veg biryani – absolutely nothing to complain! The only 2 issues here are that it is situated right outside a busy parking area. Too noisy – honking and people screaming and the reverse gear music from cars – becomes irritating at times. The seating could have been improved. Some chairs rather than benches.
A Goan friend took us to this place for the pork chorizos. It was quite good – the pork was dunked in vinegar and hence was a bit sour. It was stuffed in single pieces of poi (Goan bread) and served.
-:LOCATION & INFO:-Menino’s is located right besides the parking area in Dona Paula..It’s on the mezzanine floor & can be spotted from the main street itself..They have two seating spaces..One that faces the road & is Non-A/C & other A/C section is placed inside..The Non-A/C section is more suggested since its seems tad bit more cleaner than the inners..But the heat outside can pull you to the inner A/C section for sure..-:DRINKS:-SWEET LIME SODA (4/5): Very well made..The sweetness was proportionate & the lime syrup wasn’t so tangy..The soda just brought enough freshness back..CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE (4/5): Good taste! Milkshake was creamy & very Chocolatey enough to bring enough peace to the tummy!-:FOOD:-CHICKEN LOLLIPOP (4.5/5): All time people’s favourite..Isn’t it? Ordered a portion, liked it here & ordered another portion..It was that Good! A MUST-TRY!CHICKEN CRISPY (4/5): Loved the Crispness! Good Chicken pieces deep fried & later tossed in mediumCHICKEN FRIED RICE (4/5): The Fried Rice had chopped carrots, Spring Onions, few Green Chillies, Egg & boneless Chicken pieces..The Fried Rice was quite good in taste!-:SERVICE:-The Service was quick & attentive..Took a little while to make the 2nd Lollipop dish, but apart from that everything was just fine!AMBIENCE: 3.5/5FOOD: 4/5BEVERAGES: 4/5SERVICE: 5/5VALUE-FOR-MONEY: 4.5/5OVERALL: 4/5
