So I was just enjoying my morning walk, when the hunger pang hit me and my tummy reminded me of something called ‘breakfast’. Being a tourist in Goa, I started looking around when I came across this lovely cafe, which looked really pretty and paush from the outside. Getting in I took in its lovely ambience, and its so good that it will make your day. Also, going through the menu, I could infer that its a value for money kinda cafe. This newly opened cafe is located right on the Miramar beach, and the best part about it is that its open 24/7! To be really honest, I just fell in love with this place, so much that I visited it twice in the span of 3 days! The interiors are simple yet sophistic, and I would go as far as to say its one of the prettiest and most photo-genic cafe I have been to. Here’s what I had,RICH COLD COFFEE – To begin the day with such a lovely beverage! It was rich alright but it had a very strong coffee flavour. I would have appreciated it more if had another scoop of vanilla ice cream to it, making it more sweet and creamier. Nevertheless, it did its job alright!MUSHROOM & CHEESE OMLETTE – I love eggs, cheese & bread, and this bad boy had them all. A delightful egg preparation, with a generous filling of mushrooms and cheese inside. Served with bread, a dallop of butter, hash brown and a tomato. Absolutely loved it! I am used to having 5-6 eggs for breakfast, but this omlette made of 2 of them was able fill me up. Quality and quantity clubbed in one!GOAN SAUSAGE PAO – Unfortunately, this is the only Goan speciality I was able to have in my entire Goa trip, and that too I was too full to have it whole, so just took a bite. But let me tell you, that one single bite was enough to make me smile ear to ear, it was THAT GOOD! The buns are inhouse made, super soft and buttery, while the pork sausage is prepared in tradational goan style making this a really delicious fusion prep. Highly recommend! This is what I enjoyed in my next visit,COLD CHOCOLATE – Hot chocolate is too mainstream, also Goa is too humid for consuming this winter beverage. So what do you do? Turn down the temperature and make it cold chocolate! A creamy and chocolaty drink but I my expectations were not met. Towards the end it felt a bit powder-y, but its quantity was good. EGG, HAM & CHEESE CROISSANT SANDWICH – While the name of this dish is a little long, but it completely describes it as well. Served with a portion of salted fries and salad, its excatly what it says it is. A couple of slices of ham, fried egg and then fresh cheese, sandwiched between a croissant makes up this lovely brunch preparation. The stuffing was perfect, but I would have loved if the croissant was a little crunchy like its supposed to be. This sandwich tasted a little bit salty because of the over due of ham and cheese, bur it was tasty as well as stodgy! If this doesn’t fill you up, I don’t know what will. Another must try dish from Perfect Cup!Everything about this place, Perfect Cup is perfect! The ambience, the food, the service everything is perfect, except the beverages may be. The food is so tasty and rich in quality that I suppose its impossible to try 2 dishes in a single seating! The cold coffee and cold chocolate were nice, but it could have been better. Neverthess, I will give Perfect Cup a ‘perfect’ rating cause it deserves it!!Happy Burping!!!
