We had gone to Dona Paula to observe the scenery & after the tirey afternoon we Google out nearby restaurants and The Goan Room was the 1st that came up on the Map.We checked in there & we had some good chicken lollypop & fish thali. The food was really good as goan fish thali are always enjoyable.#thegoanroom
A simple place with great food. Although we were a little disappointed with the thin slices of the kingfish fry served but the taste was great so we didn’t complain- usually two of the fish slices make up one, they were that thin. The ambience wasn’t the best, if I ever go there it will just be for the food- that’s about it.
We, a group of 5 had been to this place. Real good sea food was served. The price was quite high. But the each Thali was good for two people.1. Goan fish thali2. Patrao thaliWe ordered these two, and a variety of fish was served. Also, chicken kebab was ordered. Food, and ambience was good. The hygiene was also maintined.
I have been here on my last two trips to Goa. The place has a quirky designed ambience which definitely brings in good vibes.I have tried the goan fish thali, the patrao thaliThe fish thali is a fulfilling meal if you are a regular here but if you are someone who is a tourist and want to try some local cuisine go for the patrao thali as it has more varieties and you will definitely go out with a happy tummy.I also tried their fish fingers which had a lot of local flavours and we totally enjoyed having them.Overall an amazing place to have a lovely time. The order took sometime to come apart from that the staff was very courteous.
