Goa is famous for it’s seafood and fish thalis. But with many people opting for the most well known and prominent restaurants, ample of other restaurants serving authentic Goan cuisine remain unnoticed. This was one such place recommend by a colleague. It’s a pretty small restuarants but well maintained with modern ambiance and warm service. .We ordered the Fish Thali consisting a wide range of dishes including the fish curry, rice, bhaji (vegtable), kismoor, prawns chilli, sol kadi and kingfish rava fry. .Even though the number of dishes served in the thali were comparatively less but we can’t argue on the authentic flavours and taste of all the dishes served. The kingfish rava fry was one of my favourites and the Kismoor served was the highlight of this thali. The sol kadi is a perfect way to end a great hearty Goan mean. .

This is a good place for authentic Goan food. Be it the prawns ghassi or starters and the crab masala or the pomphret rava fry , this place has good food at nominal rates

I have always loved the food of Vinanti. Authentic Goan cuisine at a great price. The food never disappoints. The fish is so fresh and rightly spiced. The chicken xacuti is of the perfect consistency and spiciness. If you’re in Panjim and looking for authentic local cuisine, you have to go to Vinanti. Also, do not go here for anything except the local Goan cuisine. However, please note that they run out of their fish quite early (by 1.45/2 pm). So i would highly recommend going there early.Ambience: 2.5/5Food: 4.5/5Overall: 4/5 (the food alone makes up for such a high rating)

My rating:- (4.5/5)I had been here yesterday with my family for our last lunch in Goa before we packed our bags for returning back to Mumbai. The restaurant was already packed with people, mostly families, but luckily we got a table for the six of us. It’s located in the market area of Panaji and gives you plenty of bang for your buck. We were immediately asked for water and the staff was courteous enough in helping us out in selecting the dishes from their menu. After some discussion, we decided to have their Chonak (White Snapper) thali for mains and prawns rava fry for starters. It took them quite a while to get the food and some of my family members were already done with their meal by the time our order came on the table. It’s a simple family-style restaurant with a no-frills ambiance and decorated with murals. The speed of the service is impressively prompt. The thali was a huge one, more than sufficient for two people. It comprised of a huge mound of boiled rice, crisp Chonak Fry, kismoor (a dish made of dried tiny shrimps), tisrya sukke (clams cooked in green gravy), fish curry (prawns), futi kadhi (Goan sol kadhi without coconut milk), and French beans sabji. The thali was loaded with a variety of flavors and the chonak was fresh and perfectly marinated. The prawns’ curry was a correct balance of sweet and spicy. The prawns were decent and juicy. The futi kadhi was absolutely refreshing and helped us to wash it all down! Even the French beans sabji was quite edible. Do not miss out on their Tisrya Sukka (clams cooked in green gravy). These were themselves, a powerhouse of flavor. I even liked their kismoor which was crunchy, tangy, and spicy. Mix the kismoor with some rice and fish curry to get the best out of your meal, and then have a sip of Futi Kadhi to call it a wrap. The thali was priced reasonably and did full justice to the rate. About our starter, the prawns were succulent and to die for. They were coated in semolina and then fried. They tasted just delicious. The place has got quite a comfortable seating arrangement and space has been utilized nicely. Some of their crew members seemed to be a bit rude, and this needs to be looked into. That’s the only reason why I’ve rated them a 4.5. The restaurant was in very good shape when we visited, with no filth seen anywhere. Even the staff was well-dressed and soft-spoken.Overall Verdict:- Had an amazing time feasting on some authentic and awesome Goan cuisine at pocket-friendly prices, in the heart of Panaji. Surely coming back again to try their other Goan delicacies. Our last lunch in Goa was truly a memorable one.

Vinanti ❤️After wandering in the Panaji market and searching for a good restaurant we came across Hotel Vinanti. It’s Goa and how could we not have Fish. We tried the special Goan Fish Chonak and the Fish rice plate of Vinanti. The Fish was simply yummy and delicious. We were mind blown by the Fish fry as well as Fish rice plate. The Chonak Fry was perfectly fried and had a lot of flavours. Also the Fish rice plate had some lovely options. An overall great experience and a nice place to visit in the Panaji Market.Food: 5/5Staff: 5/5Ambience: 5/5Value for Money: 5/5

Went to this place for fish thali. The thali was very average. Prawns rawa fry which we has ordered separately were good. Soul curry was watery. Staf is courteous. But food needs improvement. Butter chicken has too much food colour in it.

I loved the fish thali here! Total value for money and every item on the plate was delicious. The service was very attentive and the restaurant was decorated with beautiful murals.
