The food is decent nothing fancy typical Goan home cooked food , but they offer a tour which is an amazing experience if you like knowing where your coffee came from and other daily ingredients.. they actually take you around their farms where they grow all these . If you get lucky (like I was ) you get to taste free Pheni ( local Goan alcohol ) I would say for 400 bucks the experience was amazing .. we got some lemon grass from there to make our tea yumm.. and yes that means they also sell those naturally grown everyday ingredients.

It was my first visit to this spice farm with my family. This spice farm is located in khandepar about 40 km from the capital (Panaji). As we enter the farm, there was a traditional welcome with flower petals and tika. After that they take you to a resting place where they give a welcome drink (Green tea). Then a lady briefs about the further schedule. There were many attenders which take different groups to the spice farm and guides them about the spices. A lot to learn from different spices in the farm. Spice farm had variety of spices and it was great. Once the tour is over, the guide will offer you cashew fen. Those who are interested in feni can ask for it. For the lunch, we had authentic go an food i.e chicken xacuti, prawns curry, rice, fried fish, chana masala etc. There was special veg and non veg section. Food was very tasty. They charge 400 rupees per person. We even had elephant ride in this tour. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended!

A must visit place for knowledge seekers or food lovers. Right from the entry, it was great to bask in the glory of nature. You’re greeted with a flower rain kinda thing and lemongrass tea. Have a sip and your guide is ready for the tour. The tour takes about 30-40 mins and the guide runs you through a flood of knowledge about spices, that we usually have everyday but don’t know about how they’re grown. Truly fantastic to know about all these.Once the tour is over, the guide will pour water mixed with lavender oil to relax you a bit. Coming to the food, incredible. Truly Goan and authentic Indian food with the perfect spices. The buffet spread is complete and can fill your heart’s content. Be it the steamed rice, kokum water, dal, fried fish, prawn Malai curry, chicken curry, chana masala etc., It all goes without saying how fantastic home made like food can be. You will surely lick your fingers after this. Costs 400 per person including the guided tour. aninsatiablefoodie.wordpress.com

Traditional Indian welcome with Tikka, fresh petal shower and welcome drink (lemongrass tea) Spice Farm is beautiful! You can buy their products as well like Cinnamon oil, Eucalyptus oil, spices, Aloe vera gel etc ..Food is ok for vegetarians and good for non-vegetarians.( Food is cooked with spices grown over there) I liked kokam sharbat.Over all nice experience! Must visit.. .

The Spice farm is a really nice way to spend half a day. Ensure you buy a tour ticket which includes the meal! It starts with the spice tour which lasts half an hour and builds up quite an appetite! The tour ends and the meal starts with a shot of home made fenny! And you can be assured you’ll be tasting that fenny for a while! The meal is a buffet of homemade food. The veg options vary and the non veg dishes are between fish fry, chicken xacuti and a fish broth.. So tasty and makes you feel like you’re in a goan home with a loving grandmother cooking for you. Definitely recommend going here!

Visiting this spice farm would be very informative and fun filled trip for everyone. The staff over here is very helpful.Attached picture is of cocum drink, served with the buffet.Every food article prepared is prepared with organic spices grown in their very own farm, and hence food over here tastes totally different from which we normally taste.

Good food, well maintained farm, knowledgeable staff. The only thing I hate about this place is use of elephants. As I am strongly against the use of animals for any commercial purpose. Everything else here is simply awesome, cool and calm.
