Food and ambience are not that great. Decent prices but service is bad. Found a chicken piece in my veg fried rice. Their triple Schezwan fried rice was soupy. Would not recommend this place.
I always struggle to find good food in Ponda. But thanks to Zomato, my struggles have reduced. I happened to see a few friends checking-in at a place called “The Sigdi House” in Ponda. The place looked pretty good. I asked those friends if the food served was good. They said this place is popular for their Shawarma. So I decided to visit this place with my family. We were basically looking for a place that served halal chicken and didn’t have a bar. And Sigdi House was the perfect place for us. The place is located right in the city, interiors are average but food was delicious. We ordered shawarma, cheese shawarma, crispy chicken, chicken 65, full tandoori, murgh kebab, chicken biryani, mutton biryani & cheese garlic naan. The food quantity is satisfactory and best part is the menu card. The rates are very much reasonable. The tagline of the restaurant itself is “pocket friendly food”. In my opinion it’s the best Muslim restaurant in Ponda, specially if you’re looking for halal chicken and a place that doesn’t serve alcohol.

Food taste good, I think it’s only place in ponda where I dint get the stomach ache after eating chinese. The murg kabab is the favorite. Price is little high expect a lunch for 2 to go 600.
