Quite disappointed with the place. Went here for live music which was supposed to start at 9 but didn’t start until 9.30. The drink was great but the staff was rude.
I just gave one star for the sake of giving some credit. We went to this place only after reading some blogs stating that it is one of the best place for jazz and good food. When we reached the location it was far away from busy Calangute area. We had some doubts regarding it being good. Still we went ahead thinking maybe it will surprise us. We started by ordering chicken spring roll. It was aweful as no chicken we found in there. Now let me come to the music. It was a jazz Monday. I think who ever had earlier reviewed on it having some good music was either drunk or really had some bad taste in music. Or maybe they were paid for it. I am very sorry to say that the place needs to revamp in a big way to meet standards as mentioned in blogs (https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.gqindia.com/content/best-live-music-venues-near-me-in-goa-panjim-candolim-morjim-anjuna-benaulim-vagator-baga-beach/amp/).
Loved this place. Discovered it through a friend’s recommendation. The vibe of the place is too good. The jazz is to die for. And the food is delicious. The staff is hospitable. This has become one of my favorite places in Goa and I will definitely visit it whenever I am in goa the next time!
My all time favorite! This place cannot dissapoint you. Perfect staff and everything you order will be satisfying from their best wholesome nachos to their white wine sangria’s!
Are you in or around Calangute on a Monday night ? If yes ! Then CANTARE is THE place to be, no second thoughts. Just book a table and get ready to have amazing night !
