The Goans say that Florentine serves the best Chicken cafreal and surely Florentine didn’t disappoint. The taste of spinach and the flavour of ginger & garlic in the aftertaste just made the night. The masala prawns also didn’t disappoint! I wish the place was cooler and had cleaned tables!

Went here to try their famous chicken cafreal. It’s located on chogm road. The restaurant is huge and good. It is always crowded in the evening. Chicken cafreal was good to go with a beer. Service is good and quick.

The most boring place ever. Sad ambience.. sad food. The prawns was very average and chicken cafreal did not have fresh chicken. Not worth visiting. The Poe was not fresh at all.

Slaying the Cafreal since 1985, Florentine is another name for Cafereal In goa. It is an old restaurant hidden in the village of Saligao. We had the Cafreal on a friends recommendation and was not disappointed at all. Unlike any other it has its own version of the Green masala that’s thin and absorbed by the soft and tender chicken usually had with poyee. The rava fried Bombil was another dish I had, although I had planned to have the Cafereal ONLY.The Bombil was crispy and along with lime sprinkles was perfect goan dish. The Seradura is a must try here, creamy rich milk pudding with biscuit dust was a delight. The service was good and waiters friendly.

A favourite location for a lot of tourists and localities, I found this place pocket friendly compared to a lot many places with quality food.I had tried the chicken cafreal and had asked for the poi bread which is a local bread. The combination was perfect. It was delicious but also had a lot of heat.We also ordered the fish vindaloo which was spicy yet delectable and a must try for a fish lover. We tried this with plain steamed rice. You can definitely come here without thinking twice.
