The heart of an outlet is its management. Its food is outstanding but the staff is rude and behaviour is too bad. The order taker is so rude. Some days ago, the management was different, proper portion sizes were followed and good service and staff. After the new management took over, portion sizes just collapsed. Shawarmas are small, fries provided are only handful. And when informed about this, the order taker looks at me the way as if he is gonna kill me and i have done something very wrong. Instead i asked for what was right hence they took it in a wrong way. Last night was the last visit to this Charcoal Chicken, hence not visiting there anymore.
It’s a great place, simple, neat, with a good choice of music to add to the vibe/atmosphere in terms of it’s aesthetics. The quality of food is great with reasonable prices to add to the list of compliments also. Try the ‘Plate meat shawarma’ which comes for Rs. 150, I find it ridiculously delicious and have it at this place most of the times or order it via Zomato.
This was earlier Roosters, which has now changed to Charcoal Chicken. The owner who was earlier a partner in Roosters is there to greet you with a smile. Their fried chicken is still the same great taste. Their Shwarma is also nice. Do stop here for some hot chicken fried.
Honestly my only go to place for Shawarmas at the moment. They got the right mix of everything, and the chicken is cooked perfect, close to the right amount of Toum and the Kubus is quite good too! My only complaint is the attitude of their staff which is absolute rubbish, and could be a real turnoff from going here at times. Home delivery has never worked out for me either even though I live about a few minutes away.. only because their delivery boy was very incompetent.
Had takeaway’s from here.A little busy at times.Shawarma’s were nice, could be a lot better.Love their chicken pop corn served with homemade mayo, for 100bucks the portion is so good.For a quick snack, this a god place.Didn’t try other options on the menu.
