My all time favourite is the lemon meringue tart, but the sea salt and caramel macaron was pretty insane as well!!! This a lovely, laid back space with excellent espresso and just the right balance of comfort and elegance, wouldn’t think twice before heading back there!!!the eggless banofee, a pure greed related afterthought – converted me, yes it is possible to have an eggless deserts which taste like heaven!!!
I love the food scene in Goa and of late that has become one our primary reasons to go to Goa. I usually list out the places I want to try and Ladida was on my list. I had tried this place on Delhi and thought this was a branch but turns out, the the cafe has moved cities :)So, a visit was a must, worth the trip and charm of paperboat collective was an added pleasure!Coming to what I recommend..my personal favourite is anything and everything chocolate. The brownies were a dream, the gooey cake was beyond good and the mudpie in a jar was perfect.I also tried the zucchini cake which I had to double check coz it couldn’t believe it. It was warm and gooey and yummy (healthy for those who care!)I was also impressed by the Macarons (rasberry I think) but I was absolutely full by now. However my friends were gushing over it. It was impressive to know the compote was homemade. What I also like was the generosity of the portions and quality of the ingredients. I knew I was having good quality chocolate. The pricing was honest and reasonable.Loved this place, will be a must visit every Goa trip 🙂
Stumbling upon Ladida was the best discovery ever, in wet, rain-soaked Goa!! What was meant to be a quick coffee break, ended up as an absolute binge!! I could have eaten everything on display but eventually settled for a blueberry white chocolate cheesecake, the brownie for the missus and raspberry macaron for my little one. Oh!.. and the chilli cheese cookie should never be missed!!! This charming café definitely packs in all the flavour for someone with a sweet tooth like me!!! Would defs return!
So this was my second visit to this quaint cafe nestled inside the Paperboat Collective. Since I am currently in a healthy diet phase, I was wondering if there would be anything that would satiate my sweet craving as well as suit my dietary needs! and BOY! was I pleasantly surprised . The Chocolate Zucchini loaf (Yeah you heard it right people – Zucchini!) was beyond DELICIOUS! Also tried the Eggless and SUGARFREE almond loaf and trust me you can’t believe there is no sugar in it!!! Teamed it up with a dairy free almond milk cold coffee and my day was made! Definitely recommend Cafe Ladida by Jeneva – the chef herself is such a joy to meet!!
I’ve been going to the Paperboat collective for all things cool and the newest addition to the space is a cute little cafe – Ladida I’m not a chocoholic, so I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of non chocolate desserts they offer. I’m now addicted to their lemon meringue tart (light and just the right amount of lemony) and the cream cheese and lemon loaf. Also loved the macarons – Raspberry which had homemade compote and the sea salt & caramel combo. Perfect place to hang out with a glass of chilled lemon ice tea, dessert and a book.
Some of best desserts I have had in Goa. Clearly not catering just to folks visiting Goa who might not drop in for a second visit. This cafe feels like a habit waiting to develop, a 4pm coffee + cake feeling. I’ve been here many times now and I still cannot wait to go back!
