Went there on a Saturday night with a friend. Amazing place. The food was delicious, we ordered the Jujeh kebab and the Shammi Kebab. The quantities were quite good and we were too stuffed to try dessert. Will definitely try some next time! Highly recommended.

Mezmiz is a villa converted into a restaurant offering middle easter cuisine in Goa. Their name is derived from word “mezze” which means enjoying small portions of wide variety of hot & cold dishes. The concept translates into their menu which has wide range of hot & cold plates (starters or appetisers in layman’s terminology) and just 4 main course dishes. The place is decorated very tastefully giving it a mix of goan & middle eastern touch. The colors are vibrant and the place has a very positive vibe overall. The background arabic music playing at just the right volume adds to the overall atmosphere which gives you a happy feel.We went their for dinner and decided to occupy one of the tables in the open outside. Staff was courteous and nice. As I was visiting this place with my daughter and her partner who suggested the place – I left the ordering to them. Lot of items were ordered from the hot & cold section along with drinks. Their cocktail selection was very different and each one of them were presented nicely and made to perfection literally. Each one of the food items that we ordered was just lip smacking and presented beautifully. All of us were full but I had to test them for their main course so ordered just one dish to be shared by us all. The dish “iskenderi kebeb” was just amazing and I just loved it.If you are looking for middle eastern cuisine in Goa then I would strongly recommend this place.

The food was outstanding. We ordered different types of chicken kebab.Jujeh kebaab ( yogurt and saffron infused chicken )Shammi kebab ( chicken and lentil kebabs )Kebab koobideh chicken (Persian seekh with parsely and onion) .Loved the kebab koobideh chicken and jujeh kebaab the most. Since it was just the two of us we couldn’t get to try more as our stomach was full. Will definitely come again. Highly recommended. Keep it up.Food: 5/5Ambience: 5/5Service: 5/5Also please note this place isn’t open for lunch.

Mezmiz is coming close to their first year anniversary and have they come a long way? Absolutely Yes! We ate there last Friday and the meal was exceptional. They have been clever in keeping their menu small and adding new dishes slowly to their menu. The ice creams are to die for – we ended up going back only for ice cream! Well done to the mezmiz team for offering quality food and service in a vibrant food scene of goa. You are on your way to becoming a much loved institution in goa. Looking forward to enjoying your food at serendipity in a few weeks.

A quite little house with the right ambience and interiors. Mezmiz serves Middle eastern food that will satisfy your tastebuds. They bake their own breads, including pita. The kebabs were a tad bit dry but tasty nevertheless. Also, the baba ganoush didnt quite impress. The hummus, muhammara were excellent!
