We visited Siolim deck today.Was not much crowded but we were group of 13. Ambience was good food is not worth. We ordered King Fish Thali. King was too thin and tasteless. Squid chilly was better. Who includes Pumkin Subzi in Fish Thali. Squid masala was good.In Veg, we ordered Paneer Raajdhani and Hara masala sabzi. Despite if clear instructions to make it spicier, it was not at all spicy and very mild. We hardly had it.
I decided to give Siolim Deck a try on a late afternoon when my usual hotspot Amancio Classic was shut. I didn’t order much but I decided to try the Chinese. The ambience is pretty good but it’s not lively at all. The food at Siolim Deck isn’t anything to die for. Infact the portion and the flavours of the food I ordered didn’t justify the price and hence the rating.
Very thankful to Siolim Deck for allowing us to dine in their restaurant even after they had put the “closed” signboard. We reached the beautiful village of Siolim hunting for food, it was almost 3:30pm when we entered the restaurant. The staff clearly mentioned to us that they would just take the last order from us. We all ordered fish thali so that it could satisfy our hunger and get the order quickly. The service was quick and food was satisfactory. By the time we were done eating it was almost 4:30pm. I thank the staff for cooperating with us and making our dining experience a happy one.
