Food is good, definitely high standards. The band at the restaurant deserves special mention. Exceptional vocalist and tabla artist.The weak link is the service. Average at best, pathetic at times. I had to spend full 30 min for a simple billing. And the billing staff, the less said the better. Dont deserve to be at that place. Totally spoiled my mood and all the hard work by the chef and the others
Ambience :4/5, Service: 5/5, Food: 4.5/5, Price: 4/5A place which has such a comforting feel and beautiful vibes that you fall in love with this place.Hotel Ummed itself has a very beautiful ambience amidst lot of greenery and pristine environment.The hotel serves only ala carte and it’s famous for its Avadhi cuisine. It also houses a ghazal singers which completes the theme of the old avadh king style. Ghazal singers are good with a voice which resembles a lot to Jagjit Singh.We had a mock tail first the pink lady and it’s was made to perfection.Next we ordered Subz Lucknowi and Paneer Khurchan with Peshawari Naan and Khurmi Naan. Subz Lucknowi was the best, the main highlight.Paneer Khurchan was also good but a tad less spicy. Naan were were nicely made and Khurmi Naan I would recommend you to try for sure.There may be places which serves amazing food but to make it a memorable experience is only possible through extraordinary service which was exactly the case with us.I would like to thank Shittal who was the manager took great care. From welcoming to asking about food, helping us with choices and clicking pics for us. It’s been years that I have seen such great service. It was a service to a whole next level.I would recommend you to go to this place not for just food but for experiencing the best ever service.

Amazing food. One of the best paneer sabzi i have had since long time. Everything we ordered be it veg or non veg, was good in taste. But the paneer sabzi we ordered was the price winner. Ambience was as expected very elegant. Live music was very good. This restaurant was Worth spending bucks. Recommend for some peaceful family dinner.
If you are a vegetarian please don’t go here. This was my second time here and this time we had a friend who didn’t eat non-veg so we had to eat veg. Firstly the dishes are extremely limited. We ordered the paneer tikka, which was extremely soft and tasty, then we ordered the veg galauti kebab, which was a complete disaster, it was completely made of chickpea and it tasted like shit. Then we ordered the veg biryani, which was nice, but nothing compared to the chicken biryani.When I visited this place for the first time, I had the real galauti kebab, seekh kebab, and the biryani, all the three items were extremely delicious.The ambience is very peaceful, the musicians are extremely talented and the staff is very generous.
