This is one of those cute desserts place where you want to take your date to. Pretty and cozy ambience, delicious delicacies and extraordinary desserts with excellent service and the beautiful playlist in the background. Tried the soup, pita pocket, cheese tomato and chilli toast, Strawberry Cheese cake and Gulab Jamuns with basundi(made on special request, not on menu). Nothing about the dessert lounge disappointed but only excited and pleased the tummy. Can’t recommend this place enough for extraordinary, delicious and beautifully decorated desserts, amazing food and so much warmth. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re missing out!
Picadilly! Finally visited this place and man did it not disappoint me one bit. Just posting these pictures is making me hungry all over again and plastering a smile on my face thinking about the amazing amazing food! The cafe is located at the centre of the suburban location of Alkapuri, at Atlantis K10. With it’s cutesy little red door, and bright, cozy interiors, it’s a treat dining at this place. The staff and servers and very cordial and know all about the food they serve. Also ALL dishes are truly Instagrammable. They’re presented so well! For soup, we had the Green Peas Soup & the Roasted Pumpkin Soup. (I know traditionally you wouldn’t order these but they’re absolutely worth trying out. Surprisingly the roasted pumpkin soup turned out to be one of my new favorites). This was followed my an order of The Mexican Slider & Green Peas Potato Slider (They were so filling and such rich and juicy patty sliders served along with mayonnaise and sweet onion chilli sauce and a side of wedges. The wedges were truly the best I’ve had in the city; Crisp and light- I could just order those and my evening would’ve been made) and the Red Sauce Penne (pasta tossed in a rich arrabiata sauce served up along with a portion of the most buttery herbed garlic breads) And the Paneer Kathi Roll (A nice crispy thinly rolled out roti with nicely marinated paneer as filling served up along with a mint dip; truly mouthwatering). All accompanied by Strawberry Brisk (a nice punchy mocktail with a concoction of strawberry slushed up; again a new favourite) and the Peach Sunrise (a nice peachy mocktail)Now over to the HIGHLIGHT of the meal; the dessert course. Man oh man I truly can’t express how good the desserts were! We had the Sitafal Cheesecake (a seasonal cheesecake with a layer of fresh sitafals. I know it’s not a combination you would try it out at the first jump, but DO! It does not disappoint) the Lamington (after years of watching nigella Lawson make amazing lamingtons on MasterChef Aus, I tried my first lamington and wow, was I floored! It’s a sponge cake coated with chocolate and coconut shavings served up with a cinnamon flavoured ice cream; tasted mind blowingly goooood)Creme Brulee (the creme brulee had the iconic snap when I dug into it and wasn’t too sweet but a very nice balance of bitter sweet. Had me constantly reaching out for more) and finally the Panna Cotta (one of the prettiest desserts I’ve seen. It wasn’t too sweet and was a proper jiggly Panna cotta with a raspberry coulis on top and little drops of baked meringues)Very few places leave you with a joy and true happiness after dining there. There’s truly not one thing I could think of which could constitute of as constructive criticism. Team picadilly, take a bow; you’re truly doing an exceptional job
