Ambience – 4/5 Food – 4/5 Service – 4/5 VFM – 4/5 Parking – YesThe Morsel delights at first glance with a tastefully done ambience. There seats are well laid out and the day we went an area was decorated with birthday fliers, most probably for a party later that evening. The waiters were smiling and courteous. We started off with Broccoli and almond soup and clear sweet corn soup. I expected pureed broccoli in the soup but it instead had small florets of broccoli and shavings of almond in a clear soup base. But the dish by itself was very flavorful, spiced just right and served at the palatable temperature. The clear sweet corn soup was also made well.Starters consisted of the highly recommended Cigar Rolls and Sizzling Veg pan. Cigar Rolls, a unique take on spring rolls, lived upto the hype and is a must try at this place. The sizzling veg pan had paneer, capcisum and baby corn in a chinese sauce, a typical starter not unlike that served in many other places. For mains we ordered a shahi paneer and roti. This one was a complete disaster, with no salt or any kind of flavour in the paneer. The management heard our concern and took the dish back. They suggested Paneer bhuna masala as a replacement, which was at least palatable. The other main course was Supreme paneer sizzler, which was quite well put together. Huge cubes of roasted paneer in a green, yellow and a red sauce, with rice, mixed sauteed vegetables and fries. Quite tasty and filling. The food was for most part good, except for the fiasco with the paneer main course. Appreciate the staff for hearing us and replacing the dish with a better version.

A very posh restaurant, with very expensive menu. Went here because of Zomato Gold, for lunch. For starters, we had the Lemon Coriander soup, which is something I’d never recommend! It was extremely sour. The cheese masala papad was really good, with a lot of sprinkled cheese gratings on top.For main course, we had the Moti Dum Biriyani, which was a delight to the taste buds. The paneer, cheese and cashew nuts we’re fresh and melted in the mouth. It was a sealed with chapati dough, which probably gave it a good flavour. It was served with raita.Although the food was excellent, the service was very slow, as we had to wait for almost 30-45 min! This should really improve!Overall, a restaurant with good food, with slow service.
