I have a new personal favourite when it comes to authentic South Indian taste, I absolutely loved the place and the food. The owner of the restaurant was one of my nicest person I ever met and the thali was just completely delicious. Would love to go there again and again.
This place is for authentic south Indian food. They serve Big RAJABOOJAM THALI.•It’s a limited thali, which had authentic madrasi items. It includes a lot of dishes in itself like:-Urunda Kozhambu, Vatha Kozhambu, Moreko Kozhambu, Kootu, Thovial, Poriyal, Ney Puruppu, Appalam, Sakara Pongal, Pal Payasam, Sambar & Rasam& poori, fresh juice, green salad, veg. biryani , banana chips, banana, pickle, beeda(paan).•Other dishes like dosa, idli, and other South Indian dishes were very delicious. Ambience is sober and spacious. Must try their star dish – Rajaboojam thali.

The ambience is just like authentic South Indian restaurants from Chennai.There are many dishes available here which is not generally served is Ahmedabad but tastes soo good.You will get the best sambar and chutneys here with idly and dosas.However, they don’t have thin paper dosa.Dishes i recommend~1. Thambi Bhavan is a recently opened south Indian restaurant which serves the most authentic south Indian food in town.We triedâ–ªRaja Bhojam ThaliThis thali was consisting of several food items. This thali is been eaten in a particular manner which have got some scientific reasons behind it. Like to start up your meal with coconut water, spicy calad and to end up the meal with sweet dish and banana. Even they serve the whole dish on banana leaf.â–ªMasala DosaThe dosa was actually made in pure ghee which made the all flavor enhanced.â–ªMalli Podi IdliThis was small sized idli mixed with with spicy and tangy spices.Staff over there was friendly and they explained us about every this very properly from how to start to how it’s made.A must visit place for south indian food lovers.
Thambi Bhavan, meaning the home of brothers is a new place that has recently opened up. The place is known for a variety of authentic south Indian dishes in their menu. All of the food is quite pocket friendly too.Here’s what I liked here:Rajaboojam thali,(most favourite!)Dosa,Podi Idli,Sambhar and moreEngorged in all of a spacious open ambiance is what makes having a meal more elegant!
