गुजरात में रहते हुए मैने बहुत बार उत्तर भारतीय भोजन के ना होने का अनुभव किया था, जाहिर है कि एक उत्तर भारतीय होने के नाते यह मेरा पसंदीदा नाश्ता पूरी कचौरी, छोले भटूरे, चाय टोस्ट आदि है।यह मेरे लिए थोड़ा आश्चर्यपूर्ण एवम् हर्षित करने वाला पल रहा जब मुझे पता चला कि यह सूरत में भी यह सब उपलब्ध है।.और गत रविवार को हमने बनारसी दरबार एक नामक जलपानगृह का कूच किया और भोजन का रसास्वादन भी किया .व्यंजनों की सूची निम्नलिखित है1 – क्लब कचोरी- 4.5/5इसका नाम क्लब कचोरी क्यों है में उसकी गहराई में नहीं जाना चाहता क्योंकि मेरे लिए यह देसी पूरी सब्जी ही है। वैसे अपने यहां जो कचोरी, सब्जी रायता और दो तली हुई मिर्च के साथ मिलती है उसे खाते ही कानों से धुआं निकलने लगता है । बहरहाल भौगोलिक स्थिति एवं गुजराती भाईयो को ध्यान में रखते हुए व्यंजन को संतुलित बनाने की कोशिश की गई है जो की सराहनीय है।2- छोले भटूरे – 4/5छोले का स्वाद चटकारे दार था एवम् भटूरे भी नरम थे, फोटो क्लिक करने के चक्कर में छोले भटूरे ठंडे हो गए और हम उसके वास्तविक स्वाद से वंचित रह गए।3- पोहा – 5/5जब भी मुझे कहीं पोहा शब्द सुनने को मिलता है ना जाने मेरे मस्तिष्क में इंदौर शहर की तस्वीर बनने लगती है, स्वाद की बात करें तो यह मिश्रण बाकी सब से अलग था जो मेने आज तक खाया है मसालों का मिश्रण पर्याप्त मात्रा में हुआ है इसलिए यह और भी चटकारे दार बना था4- समोसा चाट – 4/5यह मेरे लिए साधारण रहा जैसा की आम बाजार में उपलब्ध हैल5- जलेबी – 5/5ये तो हमारा देसी डिजर्ट है, इसके बिना तो हम लोगो को नाश्ता ही पूरा नहीं होता, चीनी की चाशनी से लबालब गरमा गरम कुरकुरी जलेबी।ऊपर से कड़क अंदर से नरम। All time Fav।आप भी अपने सुबह के नाश्ते में इस भोजन शामिल कर सकते हैं। और इसके लिए रविवार की सुबह का दिन उपयुक्त रहेगा।..बनारसी दरबार (जलपान गृह) – रेस्तरां के अंदर जाते ही आपको पता चल जाएगा कि आप बनारस पहुंच चुके हो, भक्तिमय माहौल – दीवारों पर धार्मिक चित्रकारी, मन को आनंदित करने वाली संगीतमय ध्वनि, कृत्रिम 80 घाट बनावट आदि।जिंदगी रोज़ हमे नया अनुभव देती है, अपने जीवनकाल में ऐसा भोजनालय पहली बार देखा जहां मंदिर की घंटियां, ईश्वर की आरती, संस्कृत लेख, भक्तिमय माहौल एवम् सकारात्मक ऊर्जा से परिपूर्ण एवम् कर्मचारियों की पोशाक भी उसी परिवेश में।कुल मिलाकर भोजन से अलग भी बात करू तो यह अनुभव बहुत ही आनंददायक एवम् सुखद रहा।
got chance to visit Banarasi Darbar, G 4, Rahul Raj Mall, Piplod Dumas Road, Piplod, Surat; a newly open quick bite restaurant, serves Dinner as well as Indian breakfast like chats, chole bhutura/Kulcha. Regarding food below is my review of the item I tried there.Ambiance: 4/5Hospitality: 4/5Pricing: 3/5Food presentation: 3.5/5Food Taste: 3/5Service: 3.5/5Overall: 3.5/5I had variety of food here, like chat, jalabi, poha, Chole Bhatura. I would say taste was at par bit expensive, but ambiance is really good. They tried to create banarasi ghat in their look n feel. So good place for early morning goers or dumas visitor to have break fast here with theirs friends and do chit chat over breakfast with their friends.

Not only that, I love how many Diners with distinctive tastes from different cultures have emerged over the time in the city. So here I bring you the food straight away from the Banarasi Ghats, well, not the ghats actually, hehe! The Ambiance depicts the Ghats of Banaras with such calmness that will definitely satisfy one’s soul. So one fine morning, I tried the Breakfast which included — Club Kachori- Samosa Chaat- Puri Sabzi- Poha- Chole Bhature- Chai Toast- JalebiThe Zest, the Flavors, the Spiciness clearly reminds me the taste from the north. I personally, loved everything from Ambiance to Service, Menu to Food. We had visited for dinner. They have different menu in different time they also serves breakfast and lunch. Ambience : they have ground and 1st floor for seating when you go up you feel like you are in banaras . ambience like banaras ghaat and I specially like their 3d wall art !! We had manchow soup : 4.5/5 shorba-e-banaras : 4/5 paneer tikka lal mirch : 4.5/5 cottage cheese marinated with kashmiri chilly and yogurt London to Bombay via banaras : 4.5/5 Vegetable lollypop : 4.5/5 We had 3 types of papad Roasted papad, fried papad and (something new) aloo papad In main we tried Paneer lazeez : 5/5 Cottage cheese with capsicum cooked in rich tomato and cashew nut gravy Veg kolapuri : 4.5/5 Bread basket Dal fry and rice : 4.5/5 In ice cream we tried : Banarasi pan !! my fav !! must try Chocolate and guava
Worst food and ambience. Awful taste. No sense of service and rude behavior by the staff. This line is “Just to increase the character so that my post goes through “.

This amazing place is based on Banarasi theme. They have different menu for different time, like at morning they serve breakfast like poha, Puri bhaji, toast till mid day. At evening they serve delicious range of chaats and at night they serve full course meal, from soup to starters to maincourse to dessert. They also serve fresh juice on takeaway glass.
