Hard rate test is fine
Had dinner at this place with family and family friends. It was almost a dozen of us! We got a table as soon as we walked in and they moved the tables to ensure we all could sit together. The ambience is lovely, we sat inside and did not go to the deck which is on the first floor and has an open plan. The place does live up to the expectation of walking on to a ship, although the entry path could be improved, it gets slightly scary and difficult for aged people to walk on. The staff was courteous and friendly and the service was great, quick. We ordered a bunch of soups and they all tasted great. For starters we ordered crispy veg which was very well made and hung curd kebabs which didn’t live up to our expectations. Coming to the main course, Dum aaloo and Daal tadka preparations were loved by all. However, Reshmi Paneer Lababdaar was something we didn’t enjoy quite as much. Overall, it’s a decent place and could be visited once for the experience. I hope they work and improve on the food aspect.
Overall food experience was good but the main problem was surrounding..there were so many mosquitoes nd bees around your table ..even in your menu and your glass ..if you are charging such amount of money ..you should take care of all this prblm ..disappointing
Good amibence but the price for food is not worthy, I didn’t find taste of food upto the mark against what I m paying for!!!!!

We have heard a lot about this unique restaurant and wanted to visit it once. This vacation we decided to visit it. For Location, interior and ambience full marks. Ground floor they have ac dinning and roof top is also nice and attractive. On the back side they have separate island for private parties. Nice antiques to feel like pirates.they have provided life jackets under your table in ac dining but I didn’t find it at roof top dinning.These r some good points.Now my coming to some points which can justify my rating.It’s very obvious when we visit such unique place we always take a look of it and then decide our place to seat. We were very curious to see the place so we were walking around and decicing where to be seated to get a maximum good experience of ambience and place. (When we reached hardly 2 3 guests were there).Suddenly staff had started getting furious and murmuring among themselves that ask them what they want to do, r they going to seat here or they r just roaming around. Instead of guiding us and helping us to choose the correct place their behavior was weird acc to me I guess.Secondly as in all restaurant they asked chilled water or normal,.. We said normal. Then they brought us two bisleri bottles. We asked them to give us regular aquaguard water which all restaurants provides.. They said we don’t have that u need to purchase a bottle it’s compulsary. Wow so I would advise plz carry a bottle of water with you and that also if they allowed. They r way ahead of our government they have already decided water will not be free anymore.Third point is staff was the biggest disappointment. Service very poor.. Lastly we ordered fresh lime soda. Instead of bringing that they gave us feedback form, mukhvas plate and bill. We kept on waiting for our fresh lime and at last it came.Food was also ok ok. Not too extra ordinary. 1000 per couple is the expenditure here. May be more but not less but if you want to spend it for ambience then good but not worth for food and service.Better u improve it.
The ambience kills it. The feel to eat while near sea specifically in surat is a treat in itself.The staff is well managed and accommodativeThe food is decent. They offer various delicacies and all of them are good.Overall, you don’t go there just for the food but for the experience which is a delight.
