Cafe 13 is a cute small cafe near parekhs hospital, Shyamal cross road with indoor as well as out door seating. If you want to enjoy the lights view you should choose outdoor seating but in this scorching heat i suggest you should choose indoor seating. Overall ambience is okay but its a good option for offices nearby. Coming to the food :- Peanut chaat :- It was the best dish we have tasted. Salted peanut with spicy gravy. (Tomato % onion). It costs just rs.99. Green Apple mojito & French kiss :- Green Apple mojito is better than french kiss. You can feel Green Apple juice and cranberry taste. But one should taste mojito in this scorching heat. Kung Pao :- It can be good if they use less sauces. Again its a good dish after peanut chaat. It has base of sauted vegetables and sauces. Mexican sizzlers :- Vegetables were not cooked properly the only thing which was proper in taste was rice. Rice was cooked properly and it has a beautiful taste and aroma with it. Staff :- They need to train their staff regarding how to treat guest and they should know very well about the dishes they have. They are good just on a light note they need to be trained properly. Overall cute ambience , affordable prices , good option for a small party , very good option for nearby offices. Ambience: If you are looking for a cafe which is situated in the city and yet it’s not over crowded, this one could be your choice. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. Interior consists of wall papers and colorful LED lights with a seating arrangement for 4 groups of 3-4 people. Exterior area is well lit with LED series and have enough seating arrangement for 4 more groups.Food: We had GREEN APPLE MOJITO (tasted good but it could be tastier if they used natural apple juice, red or green whichever) FRENCH KISS (cranberry juice as its base and some other juice mixtures in aerated water), PEANUT CHAAT (a regular peanut chaat/salad with peanuts, onion, tomatoes, and some spices. Taste good 4/5), KUNG PAO VEG. (A spicier version of veg. Crispy. There’s a minor spelling mistake in their menu 3/5), MEXICAN SIZZLER (mexican rice, gravy, french fries, butter tossed vegetables, stuffed capsicum and tomatoes. 3/5), ROMINO PIZZA (this one was also a regular pizza with some vegetables and sauce topped with cheese. 3/5) WHITE SAUCE PASTA (it could have tasted good if they increased the qty of cheese in the sauce 2.5/5), RED SAUCE PASTA (thanks for not making it too chunky by adding unnecessary seasoning s 3/5).
Café 13, near Shyamal crossroads (its next to Parekh hospital) is a café with both indoor & outdoor seating. Indoor seating can accommodate 20 people & it is preferable indoor in this scorching sunny days . Ambience is really okayish- nothing extra ordinary. One should definitely visit this place during winters as they have beautiful lights and maybe if good music or any live music is played,then it will be fun for sure! Coming to the food, we tried:Green Apple Mojito and French Kiss, both the mocktails were very sweet. Sugar was added in the mocktail which wasn’t dissolved properly didn’t work for us . French Kiss had its base as cranberry juice while Green apple mojito was Green apple juice & carbonated water. Both are prized around Rs. 99.Peanut Chaat, the best dish of our meal. Prized at Rs. 99, it tasted amazing. Salted peanuts were mixed with vegetables like onion, tomatoes & green chillies the regular drill. Kong Pao Veg is basically crispy veg which was served in schezwan sauce. It could have tasted better if the sauce was used little less. The sauce overpowered the dish more than the flavours of spices.Romino Pizza as they call it had tomato, bell pepper, onion, olives & basil. When the pizza came, we had high expectations for its taste but to our dismay, the crust of the pizza was really thin. The toppings were dropping out of the pizza slice. Prized at Rs. 189, its an average pizza which can be a miss definitely.Mexican Sizzler prized at Rs. 229 was good in quantity but not good in taste. Mexican beans were undercooked and there were no nachos or cheese in the sizzler which is very basic in any Mexican sizzler. Vegetables were not sautéed properly and it lacked salt too. Mexican rice were prepared well so that was the only saviour in the dish.Pasta Arrabiata prized at Rs. 189, was not good in taste at all. Arrabiata pasta has to be a bit spicy pasta in red sauce but this was not spicy at all. The sauce was not prepared well as there was no taste of any flavours.Pasta Alfredo prized at Rs. 199 tasted very well. White sauce was cooked properly and we really liked how well they served good amount of veggies in the pasta. Choco banana pie was the second best part of the meal. Prized at Rs. 179, we really loved how chocolate, banana & ice cream together was served to us.Cafe 13 should improve on their presentation skills. Even the staff needs training regarding how to serve food to the guests/ customers. A place that’s quite hidden from people’s reach, though it is located at one of the crowded places of Shyamal behind the pareekh hospitalThis place has a very cool ambiance, especially it’s outdoor seating making it worth the visit just for some chat while having quick bites. At such places, you don’t expect very high standards in food when it comes to the taste and deliciousness but these cafes are solely for the purpose of visiting to have some light-hearted conversations with friends and to pass time.Few items worth recommending are:-Peanut Chaat and Kong Pao Veg.If you have some sweet cravings- try their Choco Banana pie- it was really delicious.Rest of the items need improvement on so many levels- Mexican sizzler (the name is misleading except for the rice- I felt it was more of veg shashlik sizzler), pasta arrabiatta and alfredo (both didn’t have the right taste).

But no cheese.It took timeIn which they game me bread cut and toastedDidn’t even flavoured like butter or garlic.I applied ketchup up and ate as I was really so hungry.Please go to better nearby option Not worth even trying once.They didn’t had things available on the spot.When I asked for pav bhaji they deniedSaid pulao will also take timeI had to even wait for payingNo one was sitting at the desk, that I can ask for a cheque.
the place is cool & calm. food was really amazing. owner of this restaurant is being frank & so helpful for anything u want. must try pizza, pasta & mojito, i loved it.
