Amazing food at decent prices! Daal Bhatti churma is a must try. With serene ambience, service was really quick and the waiters were humble. The puppet and the pottery are add-ons to the aesthetics. Overall a great experience!

It’s the extension of rajwadu the one at vejalpur. I have been here so many times always loved the food especially the Gujarati starters such as Handvo and Muthia are classic. One can never have those two things better than madhurya anywhere else.

It is an extention to Rajwadu and provides Ala-carte option. They have a small place which is usually crowded. The ambiance is typical rajasthani village set up and blends well with the food they serve. Food is above average. I have always tried the Rajasthani food with gatte ki sabzi, dal bati along with some Gujarati delicacies like ringan no odo, lasaniya bateka. I would prefer going to a kathiyawadi dhaba over this place for the authentic taste but if you are looking for a casual dining in a Rajasthani set up then pay a visit to this place. Service is a trouble over the weekends when place gets over crowded but they try to serve you as quick as possible.Sometimes food is either over-salty or too-sour. Tell them upfront what is your taste requirements,

Since Ravadu opened many years ago, modelled somewhat on Vishala, but smaller and less chaotic, it has matured into its own unique milieu and added lovely traditional elements! Enjoy sitting under a tree on a charpoy and letting time slip by Ans you move across your thali, from one tasty dish to another!

Madhurya is part of Rajvadu and provides the alacarte option for those unable to come to terms with the concept of an unlimited thali at Rajvadu. The place is beautiful with trees all around and canopies providing shelter from the harsh Ahmedabad sun and charpoys arranged around should you feel the need for a siesta after the food hogging. We have been here before but mostly for snacks and late afternoon teas. Our night visits have always been at Rajvadu for their unlimited thali. First the bad:There is nothing explicitly bad about the place but afternoons can seem a bit off if you’ve come here before at night with the puppet shows, dance and music performances in full flow. The food is good but not great and the taste lies between marwari and gujarati palates. The quantity is quite less for the money charged and though the service is great you will probably order more than you can eat because the food is much heavier than it looks and the ghee and oil has to ads up somewhere. The goodThough there are hits and misses at all places if you’re coming here for the first time you cannot go wrong with the followingLasaniya vada ( starter )Sukhadi ( sweet but should be preferably had with the food rather than as dessert )Patra ( starter )Handvo ( starter )Lasaniya bateka ( potato garlic curry – main course)Khichadi ( dal and rice preparation)Chhas ( buttermilk )The monthar can also be a good option for desert but would recommend having it somewhere else. There are other similar options like swati snacks and the green room ( house of MG ) but this might be the closest in terms of a one stop destination for palatable authentic Gujarati food.

A unique gujarati feel restaurant with a gourmet of different snacks. We tried the snacks platter where Patra, cutlet were the pick of the lot. Handva and moong dal halwa could have been better. Still a good place to visit during evening snacks hours.

Rarely do you find a place which looks so promising when you enter but manages to screw up the food so badly. We tried a variety of Gujarati dishes (can’t remember the names, bill attached for reference).Liked none of the dishes expect for aadu nimbu ras.Service is quite good but food is the problem. 2.5 for the location, ambience and service.0 for the food.
