Only place in satellite / prahalad nagar area which serves saurashtra style fafda – however still need slight improvisation (need to make more thin) but quality is nice 🙂 Jalebi is too good ( again only place who serves deshi ghee jalebi regularly like Oshwal )
Incase of any occassions this sweet shop is crowded with people intending to get their hands on freshly made sweets and snacks. Fafda jalebi is one of their exceptionally delectable items and during Uttarayan you can see the huge flock of individuals waiting to buy their plate. Also they have packed nashta and pickels vadvani mirchi is one hot seller item along with patra and khaman/ dhokla which are spongy soft and fresh. If you are looking for some decent Gujarati snacks and farsan this is where you can take your shot at.
Have visited this place plenty number of times. Have tried most of their chawanas and sweets. The sweets are fresh always and the Mart is quite clean. You may also find famous food iteams of across Gujarat at this place. They have got lots of varities to offer, my favourites are tomato chakri, dry fruit chawana and kaju katri. I don’t like thier nylon khaman much, as they pour water like anything. Their fafda gathiya are also worth giving a try.
Saurashtra farsan brings the authentic taste of farsan which is core part of our daily diet as an Gujarati. Be it sweets or farsan we have been loyal to this shop and would love to continue shopping from them. Ganthiyas are my favorite especially the vanela ganthiya which is specialty of saurashtra region.
