Pol kholi is a ‘secret’ tucked away in the pols of old Ahmedabad. Literally, in the heart of Manek chowk; but away from the noise and chaos. The cafe is a restored Haveli and the ambience is one to die for. Beautiful is an understatement, and it’s a delight for people who love heritage and history.. Well for the food.. can’t say the same. We had ordered the house specialty sherbet which was really refreshing. The cheese chutney sandwich was a tad bit disappointing as the bread was stale!! The malai kulfi served in a traditional kullad was really yummy. The food is similar to green house and similarly priced.. it’s a little expensive considering that the quality isn’t that great.It’s one of the most unique places in the city with ornate swings and quaint corners. I love the old world charm of the place.
Timings are given wrong on zomato. Rejected service at 7am came all the way from Gandhinagar but couldn’t have anything. I hope the timings will be corrected
One of the best heritage cafe in old city near Manek-chowk offering limited menu & average food.This place is a bliss for private meetings & its infrastructure will give you tourism vibes. This restaurant is one of the best restaurant . I like this restaurant . All food of this restaurant is too good and yummy also . My experience is too good .
We have heard a lot about this place so went there for breakfast. Didn’t have any options other than poha n juices. We ordered juices but got only poha as they said juices also aren’t available. Poha was also over priced. The staff was also very slow in everything.
My Love for old Ahmedabad city bring me here at POl KHOLI..an amazing place if you are fond of exploring heritage. Very small set up yet peaceful ambience with good hospitality. Tried Gujarati farsan Handvo and patra with Watermelon juice. Taste wasn’t excellent but it was good. Will love to visit again.
