Ambience – 3/5 Food – 4/5 Service – 3/5 VFM – 3.5/5 Parking – NoMaji Sainik is famous for its Egg based menu. There are multiple outlets in Vadodara and we went to the one at Akota. The menu has an amazing variety of egg based dishes and they mention the number of eggs and cheese cubes that go in each dish.We had the cheese butter omlette, a regular omlette and Kashmiri Rice. The omlettes were prepared in Amul butter and topped with grated cheese. The dish to mention here has to be the Kashmiri rice. Long grain rice, cooked in milk and delicately spiced, mixed with pieces of boiled egg and omlette, and topped with molten cheese as well as grated cheese. The dish exceeded all my expectations and would qualify as a gourmet item. Full marks to the chef for churning this out.
