The restaurant serves with south India/ Gujarat food from many years, still the taste was same only.. whoever coming to Surat from south India they can have the real south food here, taste like southern only. Especially dosa/ vada same chettinad style n serves with coconut chutney, sambar.. must try vada sambar/ poori sabji/ masala chaas
Roopa is very famous & old restaurant located band opposite Surat Railway Station. It’s been around for almost 40 years.I came here on the recommendation of a friend who is their loyal customer, for a quick note before catching a train back home.We ordered Medu Wada which was crispy & more importantly non-oily. Idli were soft, fluffy & decent in size. Rawa Masala Dosa looked & tasted nice. I also tried the Mysore Masala Dosa which was slightly oily & served with the bhaji on the side instead of being stuffed inside the Dosa. The Bhaji was slightly tangy & oily too.The chutney served was yummy & they serve Sambhar without onion & garlic, maybe thats what the locals must be demanding from them.All in all, it was a decent meal but nothing worth mentioning except the Medu Wada.

Amazing food and service one must visit this place one of the best since years. I ordered almost every thali they have and its very very good. Good food in terms of quality and quantity
