All these years I have passed by Curries but never put my foot in the restaurant somehow. But on my recent visit to Ahmedabad, I was able to visit their new venture, Umami. I loved the ambiance. It made the place look like fine dining.My friend and I started with the veg Momos. They were delicate, properly cooked, and had a good quantity of stuffing.All the variants in the Tiranga Paneer Tikka were succulent. The char was proper on them. Delicious.The final dish was Oriental Veggie Delight sizzler. It contained Hakka noodles, fried rice, paneer chilli, and Manchurian balls. All the items were delicious.An excellent experience overall.

I would like to add I loved the idea of the book lights. Quite unique Food :1. Curries Kabab Platter : 4.5/5 Highly recommended. 4 types of kebab served with 4-5 pieces each. Every kebab tasted amazing. 2. Mexican Hot pot : 4/5 It tasted Normal. Nothing extraordinary. Good in quantity.3. Veg layered Lasagna : 4/5 Again good in quantity and tasted good. Can try!4. We had also ordered pizza I don’t remember its name. Had lot of veggies. It was very good. 5/5 for pizza.Staff was much welcoming and humble.Will surely visit again!
