We had the incredible opportunity to try out Charcoal around New Year 2018 for a private dinner setting for just our family before it officially opened to the public . A magnificent ambiance near the pool, under the clear night sky while feasting on gourmet barbeque entrees … Chef Yugal at the tandoor and Chef Abhishek Kabrawala planning everything out, along with the attention that the wait staff showered on us, made it an evening to remember. The poolside location was really nice and we had a chance to hang out for a couple of hours after dinner enjoying the outside view on the terrace…
Restaurant Policy and Staff are prepared to spoil birthdays. Outside cakes are not allowed and They just had one poor looking shitty cake. Completely spoiled the birthday of my sister in law. Staff is also rigid. We requested to use outdoor restaurant also for cake cutting but again no. Thanks To Mr Abhijit Adurkar, the most impractical and Rigid F&B Manager of Marriott.Strictly don’t recommend Marriott for birthday Parties or dinner.
To explain in simple words, it is a Poolside barbeque restaurant serving live barbeques (starters) along with the main course and desserts. It is a lavish place but in my opinion it could’ve been better. The food is not the best I’ve ever had in terms of the barbeque. It is good but not the best for the price you pay. And variety also seemed a bit limited.They serve a soup, salads, 4 barbeque starters, main course and desserts at the end. They don’t serve the barbeque the usual way we see at Barbeque Nation and all like they put the heated coal box on the table along with skewers. Here you’ll have to ask them to serve you and they will come with the servings so I guess you miss the charm of having barbeque it’s contemporary way.All in all it was a pleasant experience. The place is fine, a bit humid though.Price: 1250₹ + Taxes per person

We went there for our 1st anniversary, and the place is so beautiful, so serine. It was so relaxing. The view, the weather, it just lift of your mood. The food is yummy as well.
The ambience at charcoal is one of the best you can get in the city, sitting by the pool with a cool breeze topped with the hot barbecue and food you get served is simply amazing.The experience is further sweetened by the personal attention given by their courteous staff and their head chef Mr. Qureshi.The selection and spread of food was sufficient to keep me excited through the meal.Overall this place is a must try given the unique experience you get.
