This was a make shift Restuarant as the hotel is under renovation. The way the restaurant was set up currently was simply awesome. It gives you a feel whether if you in Goa . Buffet spread is awesome & mouthwatering!! . The surati larries are also one of its kind . Staff is courteous too !!
It was an exotic experience having such a unique food with great Ambience !!Chef and staff is well trained and professional they served dishes with great love and politeness !!All the dishes present such a unique way it was totally different from other hotels !!Below mention dishes we tried :# Coconut water green apple rock salt mint shooter with cucumber carpaccio filled with cream cheese 🙁 Coconut water green apple juice rock salt fresh mint cucumber ribbon and cream cheese )# truffle flavor pea mousse on phyllo sheets :Phyllo sheet truffle garnish with micro greencurried grilled atrichokes with purple cabbage and Avocado puree :Curried powder artichoke purple cabbage avocado garnish with coral culip# chilgoza anjeer mawa ki shammi :Mawa pine nuts dry fig ginger garlic chilli and Indian spices# surti khamani sushi :Khaman gathiya sev green chutney tamarind chutney fill in sushi !!# chandani chicken kebab :Yummiest kebab ever !!In Dessert :Blueberry phirui bruleeGud ka Rasgulla with kesar fondueOne of the bestest desserts I ever had must try gud ka rasgulla !!
Few Days ago Invited me as a food a blogger, all over Experience was superb & Too Good, When it comes to describing Taj, it is too tough to find enough words. Taj is an experience in itself. The warm hospitality, classy ambience and smiling staff surely won my heart at this luxury Gateway Hotel in Surat I Had Try Some Dishes In Flow Cafe mantion in photo.The Service was best. Needless, to say, Taj treats you with utmost care and every aspect was above perfection.
When it comes to describing Taj, it is too tough to find enough words. Taj is an experience in itself. The warm hospitality, classy ambience and smiling staff surely won my heart at this luxury Gateway Hotel in SuratI headed to their all day dining (Flow Cafe) for two days for my morning Breakfast and was amazed to see the spread, much like that of the other Gateway Hotels of Taj.Their Cheese Omelette impressed me a lot. It was filling and yummy. We also had Poached Eggs, Surati Parathas with Mutter Kheema, Khaman, Idlis and Dosas, Croissants, Donughts and other English Breakfast items.The best of the lot were Chicken Pate, Fish Terrine, Chicken Salami.Freshly cut fruits and fresh Juices such as the Watermelon and Orange were enough to beat the heat and stay hydrated.The Service was best. Needless, to say, Taj treats you with utmost care and every aspect was above perfection.Overall, the Breakfast at Flow was filling and full of nutritious food. It was indeed a Kings Breakfast which kept my energy levels high throughout the day while was touring the city in the scorching sun.
One of the Superior place in Surat, with variety of scrumptious quality food, great hospitality services, and beautiful ambience. Chefs of Taj Gateway are well skilled and Masters in presenting their dishes. Indian, continental, and even the local Gujarati and Surti Food is available at Taj. A place in city where it’s worth to spend.
Situated in heart of the city, easily accessible from any corner of the city; it is the Taj’s only and oldest 4 star Hotel’s lounge. I would have rated them 3 only if they would be into other city. Considering you have few options to have lavish experience in the town which includes Gateway, TGB & Marriot. Flow is kind of place to have that feel, spread is definetely good but needs lot of improvement I feel. Ambience is serene. If you have been to other Gateway category hotel’s of Taj, you will definetely feel disappointed at some extent. But to be precise; for Surat it falls under my Top 5 recommendation to have buffet.Ambience: 4/5Service:3.5/5Representation: 4/5Food: 3.5/5Location: 5/5
When it comes to fine dining, this is the place I like the most. The taste and the quality has been consistent since many years. Being a Taj property, the service has always been flawless. I’ve been here quite a many times now and will surely visit again.
