The only reason I cut one star is because the chocolate sauce was a bit grainy and I have very high standards for this hotel. The food over all was outstanding – the south indian items were some of the best in Ahmedabad, the condiments extensive, the pancakes soft and fluffy – u need to try them with butter and chocolate sauce for the amazing sweet and salty hit. High point for me was the fresh orange juice.. .ended up having 3 glasses. An absolutely lovely breakfast.
I dont often give 5 stars and particularly when its just one dish. I got in quite late into the hotel and wanted a quick hot meal and opted for the chowmein but asked them to make it wet (little gravy) instead of dry. I honestly was not expecting much but the dish was outstanding indo chinese cooking. The noodles were done well – with a little bite and not mushy, well sauted veggies but the sauce was what took the dish to another level. Largely soy with green chilly heat and possibly some oyster sauce. Service as usual was outstanding but absolutely loved the food.
