'Nautanki' - a very popular term in India is used for a famous folk theater and operatic drama form before the advent of cinema in India. This popular form of entertainment consisted of folklore and mythological dramas with interludes of folk songs and dances. The project Nautanki takes form the same way by bringing the flavors of old-school drama in food and ambience. The behavior and dance of peacock which is a nautanki in itself has pillared the inspiration in creation of Nautanki.
