I love to try out local cuisine whenever I’m travelling. It gives me a flavour of the region & most times it is a safe option since trying out some other cuisine can miserably backfire.Being in Gujarat, I wanted to try out Kathiawadi cuisine. The difference between Gujarati & Kathiawadi food, as explained to me, are as follows:1) Kathiawadi food is more oily than Gujarati food,2) Kathiawadi food is more pungent due to the use of garlic & onions and3) Kathiawadi food uses curd is many ways than Gujarati food.My local contact took me to this place which he had tried & tested.We ordered RINGANA NO OLO, which is a Gujarati version of Baingan Bharta but more oily & loaded with garlic. It was nice to taste & combined well with the BAJRA NO ROTLO.We also ordered SEV TAMATAR which had more masala instead of a tomato-onion gravy with web topped over it. The DAHI TADKA was as the title suggests but a nice coolant for the body in the heat & also a neutraliser for the oily/spicy food.Ambience is very basic, nothing to rave about & food is nice but I found it too oily; but maybe that’s how the locals like it.

Finally we ordered Daal FRY Tadka and Rice and it was good that’s why i give 2 star otherwise i give 0 marks for sure..!!Really Food have no taste.. Guys please work on taste if you give the kathiyavadi food then..!!I am highly disappointed with the Food.I am on baroda for some work and we wanted to eat kathiyavadi food and its near by so we go ever there suggested by one of the family member..
