I was taken to this place for its north Indian food. They weren’t sure if I would like the Gujrati food. They wanted to play safe. And they did just that. Except the ambience and the space that felt cramped, everything was satisfactory. The food was average. There are better places to eat in Surat. And you definitely need to try the Gujrati food.

Well was visiting my sister after years and she suggested this place. It’s Opp CNG pump on Surat Bardoli road. Quite an old dhaba which u typically get highway side. Since we are in gujrat katyawadi food is awesome. We ordered Palak Paneer and Lasanyia bataka (potatoes in garlic paste) it’s a typical Gujju delicacy. So food is served fast and place has its own reputation as u see police officers (Sr. Cadre) visiting place frequently. Serving is fast, good is average but dishes will make u want more since its typical local food. Pls try to end meal with famous khichdi kadhi. Another Gujju Favourite. Now a surprise, bill will be over pocket friendly. U will feel it’s quite resonable as compared to Mumbai Standards. Overall nice experience.
