    Had been here a couple of times. The food is really nice. We have had planner, soups, lacha parantha, Chinese which was all decent. The only scope of improvement I feel here is the service. It takes a lot of wait for waiters to come to the table

    Avoid this hotel at all cost. Pathetic Service, Incompetent Staff & Management We had booked this hotel (basement banquet hall), for a small family function for 15-02-15. The hotel was booked well in advance, and was reconfirmed a day in advance and also few hours before the start of function to ensure, all things are planned and ready in time. Manager Mr. Manoj had assured competent and satisfactory services, hence all arrangements (food, sitting, decoration etc) were management by the hotel itself. Below are the points, which highlight the terrible experience we had – We had our event scheduled for 1930 hrs (I personally inquired from manager of things in place at approx. 1400 hrs, and he replied in affirmative). Though the banquet hall was ready, the starters (snack) weren’t ready until 8:15 pm. Guest though had arrived, weren’t served single snack until 1/2 hr wait. – Even after 830 PM, when most of the guest had arrived, the service for starters (snacks) was far below the expectation, and many guest could be seen waiting /requesting for service. -We also had booked 3 stalls (dosa/chat/golgappa), and the management has mis-informed them about them gathering, and they were also running short of food (Need to mention again, that everything was organized via the hotel) -Even after repeated complaint to manager, the service never improved -When I personally visited pantry area, to check if cooks are available, I was surprised to find the food ready and waiters sitting idle and chit chatting -To save embarrassment and for guest better service, we decided to open dinner. To our surprise, the dinner wasnt ready until 920 PM (against the promised time of 830PM) -The dining area was not properly managed, and it created a chaos due to inefficient arrangements -Even the service at dining area was pathetic, they were short on cutlery and main dishes including rotis (which made guest wait endlessly and stand in queue for upto 15-20 mins) All these were reported to manager Mr. Manoj repeatedly but only a superficial blame game among staff was done. At the end of event, when we raised our concern of incompetent & pathetic service, they only had apologies and nothing else.It was too embarrassing and humiliating in-front of guest, to hear constant complaints and query about service, but the management showed us deaf ears. Many of our guest opted not to have dinner. This was also escalated to the hotel owner, and even his intervention didn’t really help. Though they offered a discount, but it was peanuts compared to the lack of service and embarrassment we had to go through (Attached is an apology on the bill from the manager Mr. Manoj)I request the reader, to avoid the hotel at all the cost, as even after booking it well in advance, reminding them repeatedly, the service was Terrible.Walk few more steps, there are much better hotel next to it

    Way too pricy but good taste. I have been here mostly for the lunch itty parties. Worth trying but not a great deal from price perspective. Taste is generally very good when we talk about any hotel in panchkula. But as we prefer eating out often. Shiraz is like burning a hole in ur pocket.
