Exceptionally tasteful.better then different cafés in lodging.view to thruway in night adds to the dinning knowledge.Nourishment insightful, extremely near credible Italian.they have not included common Indian flavors like others.Rissoto was extraordinarily great and cheddar cake with crisp boundaries was astonishing.
Coursed out menu went well with all the wines that were served. Beautiful interior with a wine room and open kitchen. Very friendly staff and great for dinner dates because of the intimate setting
Zanotta at the Leela Gurgaon is their speciality Italian Restaurant . Located on the 6th floor , which is the top floor it’s a special place to be as one gets a much more private area to relax and dine in luxury . The views from here are also wonderful as you see over the Greens and Beautiful Buildings of Gurgaon . We went to Zanotta for their Sunday Brunch which they offer and being there before for this Brunch quite some time ago we had fond memories and high expectations . So from entering the hotel itself we were getting the excellent Leela Service, the lift was also called and even the floors button was pressed for us . Then from the moment we entered the restaurant we got even more personal and better service than outside . We were given a seat by the huge glass window and immediately we were asked if we would go for the brunch or Ala carte and we obviously opted for Brunch . After that immediately even before we got the brunch menu we were brought a bottle of water and served water . So the Brunch at Zanotta is called Lungo Pranzo Di Domenica which is a very different style of brunch . First of all it is not a normal hours Brunch and is an extended hours Brunch so one can enjoy a lazy and laidback Sunday afternoon . And unlike traditional brunch where there is a buffet here they don’t have a buffet exactly . They have an Buffet area for some appetizers , breads , cheese , salads and Coldcuts . The remaining food is in the form of a menu which extends over 7 courses and multiple options with unlimited serving . All the food is prepared fresh by the Head Chef Leidy Lizz Levitan , who is a renowned for her Italian cooking , and her team of experienced chef . Best part is not only is the food freshly cooked , imported but even organic . The drinks are also all served on the table . And best part of all of you want to repeat any dish any number of time one can do that and the kitchen will make it freshly for you again and again . They have 3 options for the sunday brunch – Bibita , Prosecco and Champagne prices at 2350 ,3500 and 4500 respectively. As mentioned before appetizers and few other dishes are on display on the buffet counter and the remaining food is served course wise . The courses are – Chef Leidy Antipasti (buffet part) , Pizzette or Pizza Bites , Zuppe or Soup, Primi Di Pasti E Risotto or Pasta and Risotto , Piatti Vegetariani or Vegetarian , Pesce or Fish , Carne or Meat and finally Dolce O Formaggio or Dessert or Cheese . We had ordered our choice of Juices and cold drinks by the time we were taking a look at the menu and deciding . We placed an order of 2 Pineapple Juice , 1 Orange Juice and a Coke . All the Juices were freshly made and were super refreshing . The first Course which was in the form of Buffet the Antipasti , Salads , Breads , Coldcuts and cheese were laid out beautifully . We were handed plates by our server who brought us plates for the antipasti . There were loads of options in this section . Starting with Breads there were atleast 5-6 types of breads which were freshly baked and very soft . Just next to the breads there were option of 3 cheeses – Brie ( my personal favourite ) , Blue Cheese and Parmesan . There were some Almonds , Prunes and Apricot . Then there were some fresh fruits like Pears . Beside that there were Grilled Pineapple slices which were juicy and tasty . Very fresh and perfectly sweet . Next come the Salads – Fresh Burrata and Tomato Salad , Beetroot Salad , Fresh Seafood Salad , Chicken Salad , Macaroni salad , Bacon Salad , Couscous salad , Mushroom Salad and a fresh green veggies salad . After that there was a Stuffed Zucchini with cheese and Roasted Pork Loin and Bacon . And finally there were the Coldcuts – Salami , Parma Ham and Smoked Salmon . From these I tried the Ham and Macaroni Salad , Bacon Salad , Chicken Salad , Seafood Salad , Mushroom Salad , Fresh Green Salad , Stuffed Zucchini , Roasted Pork Loin , Cheese , Prunes , Apricot , Parma Ham , Salmon and Salami . My mom tried even the Couscous salad which she loved and took another helping of it later . The Imported Meats were just amazing in flavour and taste . The Ham was Superb while the Salmon was just melting in my mouth . The salami was bold in flavour . The Mushroom salad i combined it with the Fresh Green Veggies and went so well , the Mushrooms were very Juicy and tasty while the Greens were going perfectly with it . The Macaroni Salad with Ham was also very tasty . My mom even tried the Beetroot salad and said it was very fresh . The Chicken salad was something which was enjoyed by all , shredded chicken with mayonnaise and was super tasty . Bacon salad was also nice and was made with croutons something very unique . Finally coming to the best dishes in the salad section – Roasted Pork Loin and the Fresh Seafood Salad . The Pork Loin was amazing it was Roasted and thinly sliced topped with a white garlicy dressing and Bacon . The bacon gave a perfect crunch while Pork was so Tender , smoky and tasty . Lovely Dish . Lastly the Seafood Salad , oh my god it was just amazing . It was Seafood , lime and tomatoes a perfect combination . There were fish and Prawns in this salad and the tomato was adding loads of freshness and the lime was bringing the flavour out perfectly. While we were eating our juices arrived and then first course was presented to us . Every course had Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian options . For the first course which was Pizza Bites there were 3 options – 1 veg and 2 Non-Veg options for the pizzas . My mom had the Chicken one while the rest of us had the Coppa Ham . The Chicken Pizza Bite was topped with a spicy tomato sauce , loads and loads of mozzarella cheese , grilled chicken and oregano . The pizza Bite had a really nice Tangy and spicy tomato sauce and the mozzarella cheese was just bubbling and overloaded on the top. The Grilled Chicken was also really soft and tasty while the oregano have the perfect seasoning . But then the Coppa Ham Pizza Bite was amazing much better than the chicken pizza pure which was also very delicious. The Coppa Ham Pizza Bite was a Pizza Bite topped with a full huge circular pizza Bite sized Coppa Ham . Underneath the Ham there was the tangy tomato sauce and a bit of cheese while on top of the Coppa Ham was a piece of Arugula and Basil Leaves and a Parmesan Shaving . I loved this pizza Bite and was a perfect size , perfect flavour and mildness to this . Loved this pizza Bite a lot . Next course was the soup again this had 2 options – 1 Veg Soup and the other non-veg . The Veg Soup was ordered by my mom while the Non-Veg by the rest . The Veg Soup was Wild Mushroom and Truffle Creamy Soup . I tasted this and it was amazing one of the best Vegetarian Soups i have had in all time . It was just perfection . The Wild Mushrooms were made into a complete Puree and made into the soup , finished of with the Truffle oil . It was a thick creamy soup with loads of flavour of Mushrooms and Truffle . The surprise element inside the soup was Walnut pieces which were candied and sweet . It was a stark contrast to the soup and went perfectly with the flavour profile of the soup which was very earthy . It was awesome and something I highly recommend this for even Non-Veg people . The other Soup which we ordered was the Seafood Broth . And boy was this an amazing soup. The Broth was based on Saffron and the Seafood which was Cooked in it , and inturn it was Loaded with flavours of all of them . It was a light and very flavorful broth with some hints of Basil’s freshness too . The seafood broth was very tasty and strong and really nice fragrance and taste of saffron. The Seafood Broth had pieces of Fish , Squid Rings and Prawns . The Prawns were huge , juicy and super fresh . The Squid Rings were also perfect had a little chew to them and superbly tasty . Similarly the fish was also perfect , very flaky and tasty . All the Seafood had absorbed all the broths flavour and made it very Juicy and flavourful . The squid and Prawns were the highlight with huge Prawns which were lovely. Another smashing Soup and definitely the best Seafood soup in recent times for me atleast . Loved the soups on offer. Next course was the Pasta and Risotto course . In this course there were quite a few options 3 Veg Pastas , 3 Non-Veg Pastas and 1 Risotto of the day . The Risotto of the Day was the Mushroom Risotto so i didn’t try that though it must have been great too . Neither did we try the Veg Pastas. But the options of the Non-Veg Pasta which we tried were – Homemade Salami , Bacon and Sausage Casancelli with Rosemary Smoked Butter with Tomato Concassee , Spaghetti Mare and French Duck Beetroot Ravioli . We took 2 of the Duck Ravioli and I would say it was worth it . The Casancelli was filled with loads of Homemade Salami , Bacon and Italian Sausage and wrapped inside it . The Casancelli was topped with Truffle Butter on top and a fresh tomato salad which brought loads of freshness to the dish . It was lightly flavoured and truly delicious. The other dish was Spaghetti Mare which is Seafood Spaghetti . Again the spaghetti was home made perfect chew . The sauce with the spaghetti reminded me of the seafood broths flavour but was definitely different from it as it was tomato based . There cherry tomatoes and basil leaves in the spaghetti and again the pasta was loaded with fish , Prawns and calamari. It was very tasty. Finally the Duck Ravioli which was definitely the best out of them all and if not the best Dish of the meal . The reason I cannot say that is something in the next course . But this Ravioli was something superb , unique , innovative and supremely tasty. It was again a home made and perfectly made Ravioli . Now the unbelievable fact was that the flour for the ravioli was infused with Beetroot which gave it a vibrant wine like red colour . That also made the flour perfectly sweet which was filled with the savoury duck . The pulled duck was perfect in flavour and was perfectly complemented by the sweet beetroot ravioli. It was topped of with an amazing Truffle Duck Jus and Parmesan Shaving . The best part equivalent to the ravioli was the jus. It was Superb and literally the best Jus i have ever had . The Jus was thick and Sweet with the flavours of the Truffle. It was so good that i didn’t leave one drop of it on the plate. The sas part was it was only one Small ravioli but the best part is that you can order as many as you want . Though I wanted to order more I was getting full by each course and still 2 more courses were there so decided that would order later again if I wasn’t full . The next course was the Fish Course . As I said we didn’t eat the Vegetarian course and skipped it . The Fish Course had 2 options Chefs Special Fish of the Day and Chefs Specials Prawn of the Day . We tried 2 fish and 2 Prawns . The Fish of the Day was River Sole with a Herb Cream Sauce and Roasted Baby Potatoes. It was a Big Piece of River Sole topped with loads of sauce and underneath it were the baby potatoes holding it up. The Fish was flaky and the sauce was just perfect for this sort of a dish . The baby potatoes were also roasted perfectly and went well with the fish . Loved this dish too . But the main highlight of the meal I would say were the Prawns . These were outstanding so much so I had to immediately order another round of these . This was grilled prawns with orange sauce. A very summery dish perfect for the weather in Delhi , something very soothing . The Prawns were Huge again and underneath them lied the beautiful orange sauce . The Prawns were juicy and meaty and after slicing them . The Orange Sauce was perfect for the Prawns , sweet and thick which was just sticking on to the Prawn . It was just the perfect combination for fresh Prawns . Just a lovely dish so much so that I enjoyed the Prawns and ordered it again. It was amazing and I cannot say enough words about this dish . It was truly a sense of Fine Italian Summer food. The second last Course was the Meat course . Here also there were 3 options – Lamb Ossobuco with Saffron Risotto , Bread Crumb Pork Chop and Hunter Style Chicken Stew with Bell Peppers and Olive . We ordered 2 Lamb Ossobuco and 2 Pork Chops . I personally chose the Lamb Ossobuco and tasted the Pork Chops from others. The Pork Chop was Bread Crumbed and Fried. It was served with a Tomato and Lettuce Salad which was fresh and adding vibrancy to the dish . The Pork Chop was very soft , tender and juicy . The flavours were very light but yet so tasty it was a minimalistic dish but wonderful in taste. The Lamb Ossobuco on the other Hand was a Huge serving with quite a few pieces of Lamb served on top of the Saffron Risotto . The Lamb was amazing and the Jus which was on top of the Meat and Rice was so flavourful and meaty in flavour . The Lamb was Juicy and pretty tender , not the most tender but was very good . The Saffron Risotto was amazing , very light and flavourful and perfectly cooked . It was the perfect complement to the Lamb itself . It was a great combination. Both the meat Mains were amazing and very different from each other . It was difficult to choose between the 2 but I would choose the Pork Chops as the meat was better cooked and the Jus and Risotto of the Lamb Ossobuco. Finally reaching to the end of the meal we were served our Desserts . It would have been served with a cup of coffee but we skipped it, though I personally remember that the coffee here was outstanding. Here in the dessert course you have options for actual desserts or cheese , obviously we went for the desserts . It was a dessert Sampler which came with 3 desserts in it and finally another dessert on the side as it is very hot . The dessert platter had a Coffee Ice Cream , Berry Pannacotta and Tiramisu. While the Hot Dessert served on the side was a Hot Chocolate Cake filled with gooey hot Chocolate. The Coffee Ice Cream was a very subtle yet flavourful ice cream . It was homemade and was great . The Tiramisu was also nice , nothing great but I was a good Tiramisu. The best out of the Dessert Platter was the Berry Pannacotta which was just perfect . A bit sweet a bit sour and very light . It was just perfect . Finally the Chocolate Cake , it was fabulous and the best dessert . It was also absolutely perfect , a hard crusty chocolate cake topped with sugar powder and filled with a hot and gooey chocolate sauce inside which was oozing out the moment the cake is cut . It was amazing and I wanted to order one more but I was too full so I didn’t do it . The ambience of the place is also very classy and has great views . The service was also impeccable and perfect Leela service . The best part is the price which for the Non-alcoholic option is just 2350+ taxes and comes around 2800 including the taxes . It is just a perfect place to enjoy a very classy , lazy and enjoyable brunch on Sunday .
Way below expectations. The service was good but the taste was horrible. Undercooked and flavourless. If you are paying then you expect good food not this
This 6th floor restaurant has a breathtaking view overlooking beautiful cybercity, interiors are beautifully done and food is very authentic. Service team is very polite and helpful
The food was definitely below expectation! Although the chef did replace my lasagna for a better pasta preparation, the overall experience was not as nice as what I had hoped for. The service was average. Food was very average.Disappointed even more as I had come at the neck of a wonderful experience at spectra. The difference was stark and I’d surely prefer to go to the latter any day.
Very classy.. better then other restaurants in hotel.. view to highway in night adds to the dinning experience.Food wise, very close to authentic Italian.. they have not added usual Indian flavours like others.Rissoto was specially good and cheese cake with fresh barriers was amazing..
