Go to place for mid week.japan delights. If,you can oter that, this is as authentic japanese food can get in gurgaon. The taste which seems to be the interior which has returned to Japan and Japan. If I come to India, it’s worth going.
One of the most authentic Japanese places in NCR, all ingredients are imported and the chef is Japanese. Absolute value for money for the quality and authenticity, it’s usually full of Japanese people, very few people know about it.
Very slow service initially. But later picked up once the manager arrived. Nice food. We ordered a pork dish, an aubergine dish, sushi and an onigiri. But the Mapo Nasu (pictured) stood out amongst all the dishes. It was aubergine with mince. With really nice sweet and sour flavours blending together.
#Daikichi has been one of my favourite restaurants since over a year now. The #Japanesefood served here is totally authentic and does not get Indianized. This is where I had Japanese cooking for the first time ever. The staff really looks forward to customer satisfaction. I recall a waiter who took out time and benevolently taught us to mix wasabi with soya sauce, and then use it as a dip. Special visits are even made from the chef to make sure we like our meal. She would zealously describe to us the preparation of dishes when asked about them. Last time I went to the Daikichi at JMD Regent Arcade, MG Road. There, I ordered Raw Salmon as well as Barbeque Pork & Rice with soup. I love #salmon and have tried it at numerous places. Compared to others, I find Daikichi’s Raw Salmon to be the real thing. If someone wants a taste of #freshsalmon, it would be the right choice. The Barbeque #Pork & Rice with dip was equally amazing and made my #lunch fulfilling. Over all, I am personally a fan of Daikichi as this place really made me develop taste for Japanese cuisine. shiulichakravorty.com
Very fresh preparation.Daikichi caters personally with attention to individual tastes& requirement.Excellent , piquant place. They cater to Vegetarians Seafood eaters as well as Non vegetarians.
An authentic japanese cuisine restaurant. The ambience is so much like Japan. With sliding doors, server greeting you in japanese, the hanging lights. Shelves with japanese books. The menu had all the dishes written in japanese with english explanation. Well few items were familiar ones like ramen, soba noodles, shashmi, rest were little complicated to understand, since it was the first time dining in an authentic one. We had ordered an appetizer combo which had prawn, chicken, pork, and few veg items. We thought it would be battered fried with tempura. But i felt like it was battered with bread crumbs. So it was not that great so would probably rate 3 out of 5. We ordered for Salmon Sushi which felt like a bliss 5 star for it. We then ordered for Barbequed pork rice bowl which was also good 4 out of 5. Well overall the food was good. Since their head Chef was from Japan itself. The place is at a little seculded area with one night pub and few Spa centres. The staff are very friendly and courteous.
