Went here on Wednesday night for a corporate party. The place was good. We had a package and tried dahi ke kebab, chill potatoes, chilli chicken, chilli paneer, dal makhani, butter chicken and chicken curry. Everything was delicious but the worst part was the DJ that playing that night. Worst taste in music I would say. We just wanted to have a good time and listen to some good songs but his playlist was outdated. Except the DJ everything was amazing.
(3.5)Rating Godfather is really tough. It has an amazing location and very nice food, but the service is at times quite terrible.I have been there twice. The place serves alcohol, has a smoking area and screens popular matches on the screen placed right opposite the door.On my first visit with Raghav Pandey , I had the Chicken Shawarama, which was smoky, creamy and overall tasty. I also had the Chicken Kathi roll which was spicy without going overboard with it, and tasted quite nice. We also ordered the Cheesy Veggie Pizza (however it was spelled) which was ok, but not great. Washing these down with Bira was a good idea.My second visit was with Saumya Kharbanda , and being hardcore carnivores, we agreed on ordering the Grilled Mutton chops. Unfortunately, after playing a lot of dumb charades and twist, and finally managing to catch the attention of a waiter, we were informed that they didn’t have any mutton available. Our thwarted tastebuds craved for smoky meat and we had to settle for Half Baby Grilled Chicken with fries and barbeque sauce, along with Peri Peri lemon chicken (as shrimps were unavailable). We also ordered a Peach cooler and a Pulpy Kiwi mocktail. The Peri Peri Lemon Chicken tasted very balanced. One could make out the flavours by themselves and it was cooked to perfection. The Grilled Chicken too, was nice, but our sides and sauce were mixed up and we received Slaw with Peri Peri sauce. We couldn’t complain as we had been waiting quite a while for the food. The drinks were decent.Finally, for a while, the virtual absence of internet speed in the restaurant made us wait a while for our Gold privilege trip to unlock, but it did.All in all, the food itself is reason enough to visit the restaurant, but be prepared to leave your watches at home.
