I had a chance to visit the 10-month old resturant named Together at 12th this evening with my mom to celebrate her Anniversary. The prices at this restaurant are unlike what you’d imagine at a restaurant inside Le Meridien, Gurgaon. The ambience here is wonderful while the view from here is breathtaking during sunset. The service and hospitality made us feel like queens. Our food journey here began with their special amuse bouche, that our server told us keeps changing seasonally. The complimentary bread basket comprised of Ragi white and brown breads alongwith Rosemary butter. We tried the following dishes here:~ Chicken Salami salad: Prepared using greens from their own balcony garden and sourced from organic farms. Freshest salad ever!~ Cured Bhetki: Cured bhetki fish rubbed with the in-house Kasundi, served with Sago and Fern Pickle was an exquisite dish. It looked European but tasted Bengali! A must have for fish lovers!~ Prawns with Rice Cakes: Prawns sauteed in kokum vinegar and chillis and served with paper thin rice crepes, a delightful appetizer. A must have for prawn lovers!~ Mutton, lentil, coffee, karu: I visited during their Kodava-Coorg Cuisine Pop-up festival and got to try a dish from this special menu. This festival is ongoing till the 10th of February. A flavoursome mutton curry served with dosas. A must have for Mutton lovers!~ Duck Pasta: Agnolotti pasta stuffed with pulled duck, cooked in cheese duck sauce and served with beetroot and grilled corn. Beautiful presentation and even more delicious! My favourite dish of the night! A must-have for Pasta lovers!~ Buffalo Cheeks: I’d never seen this dish before on any menu at any restaurant I’ve ever visited. So obviously I was curious to try it. And I’m glad I did. Slow-cooked buffalo cheeks, topped with smoked Whiskey sauce, served with baby carrots and carrot leaf salad. Beautiful presentation, yummy taste and totally filling, I loved it! A must-have for people who enjoy buff meat.We had 4 drinks here although I wanted to try more from their Seedlip drink menu. Seedlip is something I have seen for the first time on any menu at any restaurant I’ve visited so far. This ingredient is used as an alternative to gin for people who don’t drink.~ Butter Beer: O.M.G. this is a must-have for everyone, potterhead or not! Such a lip-smacking drink! So creamy, so buttery, so yummy, soul satisfying!~ Southern Sunrise: I had a non-alcoholic drink from the Kodava-Coorg Cuisine Pop-up festival menu. It contained orange marmalade, coorg peppercorn, lime and soda. It was a truly refreshing drink which would be perfect for summers!~ Panjim, Goa: I picked this drink up from the 12 Cities Bar Menu. This contained Spiced Coconut Cream, Raw Papaya Murrabba and Rum. Another very refreshing summer drink to have! A different take on the Pina Colada.~ Beijing, China: Cognac, Wine, Orange, strawberry and jasmine tea. I had the warm version of it. Very enjoyable. For dessert, we had:~ Warm Apple Pie: Baked perfectly in the shape of a rose, the apple pie was yum! Served with Barley Ice Cream and Apple Compote. Truly, soul-warming dessert!~ Coffee: Coffee profiteroles filled with coffee mascarpone cream, topped with Kombucha and served with Green Coffee Ice Cream, this dessert was love! I am a fan of coffee and this satisfied my palate to the core! This place should be on the Must Visit List for everyone in town as it serves delicious food, yummy cocktails and yummier desserts! It’s the perfect place for a date, a business meeting (as they have a private room for corporates) and family. They keep hosting a lot of themed parties. I will definitely visit again during one of these themed parties or food festival! All the best to the management! Cheers!

On a referral of a friend I decided to visit Together at 12th on Tuesday for lunch. The Le Meridien is close to the toll on MG road and quite accessible via the highway too making it much easier than you’d think. A simple tap of an elevator button to the 12th floor to enter and once you reach the top there is this sudden sense of ease & openness to the space – sunlight pouring in and the sight of the world go by tuned out by the music. Vibe on point, I’ll give you that. I was impressed to discover tiny details of the space; it definitely has a personal touch to it They gave me a pebble smiley to keep me company They have a pre fixe menu for making quick lunch meetings breeze by. A pick your own kind of sandwich menu for those who just want something with their coffee. Since I went alone I didn’t order much. First came the complimentary bread basket that I thought was impressive; I have heard good things about their sourdough bread and it was! I got a ragi sourdough & a walnut bread though I’m told they keep changing those around ingredients. The server was very polite, he helped me with suggestions and I decided to try out the Meghalayan rice & smoked meat risotto. For appetizers I had the Brussel sprout & baby potato. Since I love potato I was tempted after seeing herbed mashed potato and ordered it for a side. I wasn’t planning on drinking anything but the server rather convincingly explained about this new beverage called Seedlip – a non alcoholic distilled spirit that tastes like gin but isn’t. they have an interesting menu card dedicated to it. I walked out onto the balcony to take a call and was amused and shocked to see baby eggplants growing amongst others on their lengthy balcony. Coming to the food, the Brussel sprouts were nice, the mashed potato was so silky smooth and buttery almost foam like & the main – risotto – was an interesting mix of smoky come tangy (from the Goan choriz) come rich, basically heavy on the protein and quite filling too! The drink is quite deceiving, it actually tastes like gin without getting you drunk. They offer this as a replacement for alcohol in some of their cocktails too. The risotto though is a must try; its warm and soul filling I wish I could have stayed for longer, but definitely paying another visit with friends. This place should be discovered by more .

I always used to feel gurgaon has good byob places than standalone restaurants. But yesterday I was proved wrong.Together at 12th It’s a new joint at le meridian, So from What I have managed to gather it’s an outsourced affair by the hotel. I had the Pork, Timur Spice, Hempseed, Apple. It was just amazing the pork was cooked so well that it split from the bone instantly. It was juicy and the black rice along with it had such an aMazing flavor of butter and garlic. Also note this place has the best view in gurgaon. #TheGuyWhoPostsRubbish #foodsnob

The concept of this place is pretty fresh, youthful and innovative. This place offers you some of the most extravagant Italian cuisine cooked from Indian home based products. The cheese from uttrakhand to their vegetables being cultivated i their very own space by the Chef Vanshika. M highly impressed by their subtle ambiance with different section for meetings and dinning.Service – Expect quick service and professional staffs guiding you with the menu.I tried their Brunch Menu as well as their A la carte menu.My RecommendationsCHICKEN BREAST PORK BELLYwith SpaghettiTortelloni – VEGDesserts – they have an assorted dessert and each one is amazing in their own way.I had a VERY GOOD experience here. depressedhogger.wordpress.com
