food was good. delivery is usually always late and I’m a very very regular customer
These guys are Very poor in services. They take the orders and after 2 hours denies for delivery. They don’t know the value of time and respect the customers.
The quality has gone down drastically from what it was 2 years ago:( the only saving grace is the Miso soup. The sushi rice was clumpy, hadn’t been washed enough and unevenly cut. A far cry from the quality and finesse of earlier times. Quality checks please!
If the packaging was as good as your food then I would have given you a 5 star rating. However, I cannot give lesser than 4.5 because the staff was super duper polite and the sushi was too yummy.Love your food. However, the packaging can certainly do with some more improvement.
We really like Izu and could be considered regulars now. Weekends see us reaching for lunch by 2-2:30 what with the late breakfast etc. The downside is that most Japanese restaurants shut for the afternoon. Not Izu! Waltz in for a late lunch or a super early dinner and you will be served. The Butter Salmon Bento and the Pork Katsu are my favourites! The sushi is average. Noodle eating friends adore their Ramen (Shoyu) too. They even deliver their Bentos in sectioned plastic containers. It’s not a spectacular gastric revelation but it’s good, comforting Japanese food. The salmon (a delicate fish) is sometimes overcooked in the Benton though. Feedback to management would be to try and maintain consistency. Either way, we will keep eating at & ordering from Izu.
Had the curry udon. Was disappointing. First of all they didn’t use Udon noodle but some regular noodle variety which lacked the chewy texture of Udon. Curry was also not well prepared, it had too much salt and reminded of the instant noodle instead of japanese curry.Overall will not recommend.
