Not a tea person my experience here is limited to desserts and coffee. Fruit cake was good and I loved the apple pie. The faux tree with lamp shades looks beautiful and the high stool seating in the balcony overlooking the culture gully is a perfect place to perch yourself while sipping your coffee. They offer wonderful artworks here which are pleasing to eyes and for sale too. There is a collection of books as well but I found it too limited for my taste. Anyone visiting Kingdom of dreams must explore this alley!

There are two type of species in this world first one who loves coffee and second who loves tea. Perhaps there are people who love both !!!, depending on the serving. so if you are one of those who love to have tea you must try this place. They have ample offering on the tea, however I tried Darjeeling tea, it was filled with aroma and nice taste.
While leaving we dropped out eyes onto this assam outlet just opposite to Delhi and Ludhiana.It was an extended counter full of sweets which we couldn’t resist.On our menu-1.gulab kheer-by far the best kheer I’ve had.perfect gulabi flavor but a little too sweet.2.rasmalai-it was not that sweet which was the best part.melt in the mouth.3.gulab jamun-nice and perfectly made and blended in tune with the chasniOverall the dessert aren’t that expensive and a good choice in available.versatile flavors.
The Assam Tea Lounge is located on the 1st floor of Cultural Gully. The ambiance is just awesome and a artificial tree adores the environment on one side and cups and saucers on the other side. The Lounge has long traditional chairs made out of wood. They not only sell tea but also bakery items. The taste of the tea may not be great but the experience is. The view from the top of the lounge is unique.The outlet also sells books, magazines and CD’s etc.The Verdict:-Food/Taste – 6/10Service – 6/10Value for Money – 6/10Ambiance – 8/10Quantity – 7/10Great Ambiance! rohitdassani.com
