Below expectations. Service was slow and the staff was not able to manage customers. No one was asking for refill. Taste was average.
Much below expectations. Food taste was ordinary to bad. Specifically:- Baati was dry – Aloo methi was strange – Missi roti was hard and tasteless – Butter milk was too salty and when asked to rectify, just added water and brought the same thing again.- Did not bother to serve any pickles or salads – Most of the food seemed recycled / re-cooked stuff- Only the Bikaneri roti, Baajre ka khichda and Dal saved the day for us.Above all, the service was completely missing. It is a blot on the famed Rajasthani manwaar custom. Despite being the only ones in the restaurant, they did not bother to attend to us! And very strangely, they have a ‘rule’ that limited thali can be served only outside and unlimited thali only inside the restaurant!! Required additional effort so that all of us could sit and eat together!!
Quite a disappointing experience. Ambience is not maintained and sofas look unwashed from months. Ambience looks unhygienic and the staff members seem more interested in how much you will be paying inside the restaurant rather than delivering adequate services. You will only be allowed entry inside the restaurant if you order specific premium thalis from the menu, else you will have to wait in the common hall and wait for the food. Service not worth the money.
Twice I have returned from there without having any food. They always change their Menu last minute and mostly there is NO Rajasthani Dish. Zomato should have an option for zero star !!
Really delecious food. Best was potato subzi n gatta gurry. Both tasted awesome with poori. Daal bati was good ss usual. Choorma was very good. Overall a good option for stritch vegeterians.
The Rajasthan’s food outlet at the cultural gully served as great dal baati choorma but they only alow people who order a Rajasthani thali to sit inside the restaurant otherwise you have to sit outside or get your food packed. And when asked to serve water they strictly refused it. Food desreves 5 stars but service is poorest of poor.
Huge disappointment !!Please don’t try the daal bati or gatte ki sabzi. It’s not worth it. Forget the Batista even the dal wasn’t soft and mushy as is expected..it simply is a big let down.
