I went here recently after hearing from other avid foodies and some of them avid cooks as well – that Needs had opened a Gourmet store on Sohna Road, where they also had a ready to eat section where you can procure freshly made items like curries, batters (read South Indian food prep) and some authentic South East Asian dishes like the Khao Suey, etc.Given that I am not the most regular or all that terrific a cook, I am all for eating out and getting food ready through any quick cheats that are handy – and to me a ready to eat meal that I don’t have to nuke straight out of the freezer and is made of fresh ingredients AND can be had in the comfort of my home with PJs on (not to take away from home delivery either 😉 ) sounded rather convenient and easy to do – all while doing your weekly grocery shop run. Tried the Khao Suey Vegetarian (as mom wanted to try it too) and not too bad, pretty close to authentic I would say; but alas not something I would travel to this Needs for perhaps.
Cockroach on table, utensils and wait staff did not care to do anything aboutnit when unformed aboit it. Did not have what we ordered. Staff was indifferent to requests to have a noise making family reduce volume of their kids’ cellphone who were happily watching movies on full cellphone volume.Pathetic experience.Manager simply said sorry when I gave this feedback.PATHETIC LOSER OF A PLACE
Took home 2 slices of red velvet from this place and the pastries looked amazing. The cake was moist but the frosting was very bad. It didn’t taste like a red velvet cake at all.
They try to do a lot of cuisine and end up with the most average job at best. Delivery times are pathetic. They say 15 minutes but don’t expect anything less than 45.
