Decent place for food lover travelling to Vaishno Devi . The restaurant is located at Katra Bus Stand..little bit costly as compared to other restaurants.Waiting time is also higher.. Food was good but not up to the mark.As per my experience.Food:6Service:6Ambience: 8Value for Money:6
I went to this restaurant with my family when I was at Katra yesterday. They have a self-service system and hence we ordered Rava Masala dosas. The food tasted average (because of weird oil taste and not because it was without onion and garlic) and the quantity of aloo masala was very less. We had to order extra which they gave happily.The turn around time after the order was placed was also on the higher side. The location of the restaurant is good, but the rest of the things like food taste and service was average.
Went there 2 days back, when I was there for Darshan, ordered 2 Aloo parantha, and you won’t believe, it took almost half an hour to get that paranthas, and the main thing was they have self service over there, and the taste of the food was also not too good, almost below average.
Centrally located, they’ve the best location in Katra (now competed by Sher-e-punjab) and I suppose that’s one of the reasons that their quality is degrading. I remember we used to visit Jewels, every time we were at Katra. But now, it’s just high prices, low quality and bad service.
We went there and there was no rush. Still service was bad. Food was below average. Cutlery were dirty. When complaint they were even not sorry and didn’t bother when we left there from middle of meal.
