Though their menu is ordinary, their food is pretty good. And you can’t help but feel thankful for the pricing. The service can be a little slow, which is hard to understand considering the lack of crowds. A good place for business meetings or celebrations.
WISH I NEVER HAVE AN EXPERIENCE SIMILAR TO THIS IN FUTURE.Just a fancy name doesn’t guarantee good food and good service. I had a pathetic experience at this place some 6 months ago. I had visited this place with family for dinner. The place was deserted and I feel we should have taken this as a hint and left. But thanks to our bad luck, we didn’t. So the horror story starts with Menu itself. There were hell lot of items mentioned in the menu. But once inquired, they made excuses that they can’t serve some particular items. So at last we asked the person taking the order to suggest something that would fill our tummies.After placing the order we had to wait for ages. It literally seemed as if the guy had gone out to fetch some fresh chicken to prepare the food. After waiting for approximately 80 minutes our food was ready to be served. Now the guy designated to serve the food was in a different zone all together. Apart from serving the food in the plate what he also did was served some food for my trousers also. And to my amazement, i guess this guy was living a dream in his own multiverse, he started laughing his guts out. When I checked with the manager it seemed that the waiter was in an inebriated state. Anyhow we ate our food and didn’t enjoy itSO, my ratings are:Ambiance: 3Taste: 2.5Service: -ve10 (if that counts)Value for Money: 1Not at all recommended.

This is one of the worst restaurants I have encountered in Ranchi. Ordered food for home delivery. Took long time to deliver. Now after opening the food I got the shock that they have not sent all the items that are ordered for. Ordered 4 kulchas, they have sent only 2. Ordered apollo fish but they sent chilli fish and the quality of the fish used was one of the worst, instead of using betki or basa they used smelly rohu! ordered goan prawn curry , they send plain prawn curry, even home made chingrir jhol is better than their preparation. When you can’t prepare specific items then whats the point of writing them in menu card and accepting orders. Only saving grace was murg makhani but here also the chicken quality was very poor, almost raw. potato kulchas were tasteless. Pricing is high but food quality is below average. Overall had a bitter experience and I will never go there or order food via any app..
A great place to visit with family. Its quite and sober, has a very pleasant ambience. The staff are well behaved and attentive at all times. Food here is another plus to visit the place, whether you try indian or Chinese you will surely not be disappointed with the food. Green chicken chilli is quite tasty so are the gravy chicken items. The roast is well made and you won’t find traces of burn to ruin your food. Overall a very good place to visit if you want to spend some quite time with your family.
Apart from the price, Orchid has a great menu to choose from! Finding ravioli in Ranchi is a huge deal! (Correct me if am wrong) Tandoor is only available in the evening so check your timings!Their Dimsums are the best in town!
