  Warning: Review has a bit of background story. And it goes like: So we four friends, post disappointing taste bud in an Italian restaurant, were walking down street to eat biriyani or some spicy food.. and I happened to see ‘Bamboo Restaurant’.. I told my friends that there’s a restaurant in Mangalore with the same name and I fell in love with the biriyani they served (Veg Biriyani is hard to love when you are not a born vegetarian).. and we quickly decided to give a try here.. and.. firstly, we liked not over the top ambiance.. dimly bright..Then, Mr.Ashiq comes to us to give the background of the restaurant and food, I have not seen anybody doing it in any restaurant in Bangalore (rather, in very few restaurant in India they do it). Its always good to have a quick background of where we are and what quality of food we are upto (reassurance always works).. We told our preference and he helped us order according to our taste. And every single item that was on our table had an unique masala taste.. and it was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S !! My friends had ordered for sea food items.. and they absolutely L-O-V-E-D it. Finally after so many years we found a restaurant in Bangalore where both veggies and non veg eaters be happy at the same place! Then came the desert, WORTH trying!! Please note: try Bamboo Biriyani and Kizhi biriyani only if you are a biriyani fan and who knows what’s bamboo biriyani and kizhi biriyani.. you will love what they serve, very A-U-T-H-E-N-T-I-C.And service, they treated us absolutely as a prioritised guest.. which I’m sure is common in Bamboo Restaurant, as I experienced in Mangalore Bamboo Restaurant as well. Usually in review we may have to write ‘must try’ item, however I did not specify here because Mr. Ashiq will be the best one to tell according to your preference (make sure egg(or any other preferred item) chilly is in the list) Good food and better service will always be lil expensive. But if the same comes in an economical way.. there’s nothing like it!! And yes..there are few restaurants serve good food with the nice service but my pocket always got annoyed with it. So when there’s this place where your taste bud, stomach and pocket can party hard, it’s absolutely a bliss !!

  Had ordered for Bamboo Chicken Biriyani and Paneer Fingers. Bamaboo Biriyani is made with spices and Falour within Bamboo and Ingredients with Rice wrapped in Banana leaf. The Biriyani did not have any Spices aroma neither Banana leaf aroma or Taste.Paneer Fingers were half baked and not so good.Overall i do not recommend this for a Family meal.

  Oily parathas, slimy manchurian, chicken masala should be renamed Garam masala gravy. Order at your own risk. Just hoping , good restaurants start opening soon in this area, because will not order from bamboo house again

  Firstly time I have been here. I’m impressed with interiors and service they are providing.Bamboo Biryani is very good and haven’t seen this dish by any restaurant around 10km.Really impressed with food and service, will visit again

  Heard lot about this restaurant anad it lived to the expectations.Chicken masala is taste and Bamboo chicken biryani is awesome, loved the taste office Al faham. Up on all prices are pockets friendly.5 outside of 5 for this restaurant.Strongly recommended this restaurant

  I have been here multiple times, Taste and service is awesome.Specially Bamboo biryani, Alfam and tandoori items are awesome.I will visit again
